      Advice: Georgiev played better than the final score would indicate, but the Stars' overall game was too much for the Avalanche to handle. He's now lost consecutive contests for the first time this postseason. The 28-year-old is 5-3 with a 2.97 GAA and an .893 save percentage over eight playoff contests -- which is fairly similar to how he performed in the regular season. The Avalanche's offense is strong enough to avoid asking Georgiev to steal games, but he will need to be just a bit sharper in Monday's Game 4 to avoid putting his team on the brink of elimination.       Advice: Heiskanen set up Logan Stankoven's first playoff goal at 18:39 of the first period. With four points over three games in the second round, Heiskanen is looking like himself again after his offense tailed off late in the first round. He's at three goals, six helpers, 26 shots on net, 20 blocked shots, 17 hits and a minus-6 rating through 10 playoff appearances.       Svechnikov registered a power-play assist, two shots on goal and two blocked shots in Saturday's 4-3 win over the Rangers in Game 4.

      Advice: Svechnikov is heating up with four points over his last three contests. He helped out on Brady Skjei's game-winning goal late in the third period Saturday. Svechnikov is up to nine points (two on the power play), 27 shots on net, 23 hits, 14 PIM and a plus-2 rating over nine playoff appearances.       Advice: Georgiev surrendered four goals on 31 shots en route to a 5-3 loss to the Stars in Game 2 on Thursday. He's 5-2 with a 3.10 GAA and an .886 save percentage in seven playoff contests this year. He struggled in the regular season, too, posting a 3.02 GAA and an .897 save percentage in 63 outings, but he still finished with an impressive 38-18-5 record thanks to the Avalanche's potent offense.       Advice: Pastrnak helped out on a Jake DeBrusk goal with a secondary assist in the Game 3 loss. Pasta also added three shots on goal, two hits and a plus-1 rating in 21:09 of ice time. Also, it was a positive to see Pastrnak feeling no ill effects after fighting Florida's Matthew Tkachuk at the end of Wednesday's Game 2.       Svechnikov logged a goal and an assist in Thursday's 3-2 overtime loss to the Rangers in Game 3.

      Advice: Svechnikov picked up an assist on Jake Guentzel's opening goal midway through the first period before tying the game 2-2 late in the third with Carolina's net empty, snapping a rebound past Igor Shesterkin. Even though the 28-year-old backstop stumbled in Game 1 of the Avalanche's first-round matchup with Winnipeg, coach Jared Bednar has stuck with Georgiev and will likely continue to do so even if he stumbles again.
