    • Another multi-point effort
MacKinnon scored a goal and added an assist in Tuesday's 4-3 Game 1 overtime win over the Stars.

Advice: MacKinnon set up Valeri Nichushkin's power-play goal in the second period before scoring the tying goal 39 seconds into the third, snapping a loose puck past Jake Oettinger. MacKinnon has at least one point in all six postseason contests so far, and he's recorded two points in four straight games. He's up to three goals and 11 points so far in the playoffs. • Assist on game-winner
Zibanejad had the primary assist on Vincent Trocheck's game-winning goal in Tuesday's 4-3 double-overtime win over Carolina in Game 2.

Advice: Zibanejad threw a shot towards the net during the second overtime that popped out to Vincent Trocheck for the game-winner. In addition to the assist, Zibanejad recorded six shots on net, two hits and a minus-2 rating in the tilt. He already has four points (two goals) in two contests this series. The first-line center is up to 11 points in the playoffs -- just one behind superstar center Connor McDavid. Rotowire.com Tuesday, 11:44 pm
    • Gets first point of postseason
Harley registered an assist, two hits, two blocked shots and a plus-2 rating in Sunday's 2-1 win over the Golden Knights in Game 7.

Advice: Harley snapped a seven-game point drought with the helper on Radek Faksa's third-period tally, which was the game-winning goal. The 22-year-old Harley had an excellent regular season with 15 goals and 47 points over 79 appearances, but he has just one assist with 12 shots on net, 20 blocked shots and a plus-2 rating through seven playoff outings. He'll still absorb top-four minutes, especially with Dallas leaning heavily on five blueliners, but his offense may take a back seat to his defensive duties again versus the Avalanche in the second round. • Starring role in Game 1 win
Zibanejad scored twice, added an assist and blocked two shots in Sunday's 4-3 win over the Hurricanes in Game 1.

Advice: Zibanejad scored the Rangers' first two goals and added an assist on a Vincent Trocheck tally. All three of Zibanejad's points came in the first period, and two of them were on the power play. He's racked up four straight multi-point efforts and his point streak is at 11 games (five goals, 13 helpers) dating back to April 5. The 31-year-old center plays in all situations for the Rangers, and that's unlikely to change in this second-round series. Rotowire.com Sunday, 4:46 pm
    • Drops Game 7 in overtime
Samsonov allowed two goals on 31 shots in Saturday's 2-1 overtime loss to the Bruins in Game 7.

Advice: Samsonov put in a strong showing after Joseph Woll (undisclosed) was deemed unavailable for the winner-take-all contest. Samsonov was able to get the game to overtime, but a bank pass from Hampus Lindholm found David Pastrnak in the space between Samsonov and defenseman Morgan Rielly, and Pastrnak was able to convert the decisive goal. Samsonov won just one of his five playoff appearances, allowing 14 goals on 134 shots during the first round. The 27-year-old will be an unrestricted free agent this summer, and the emergence of Woll makes it seem unlikely Samsonov will be back to the Maple Leafs after a mediocre campaign. • Thrust into service for Game 7
Samsonov is expected to start on the road in Game 7 against Boston on Saturday, per Elliotte Friedman of Sportsnet.

Advice: Samsonov has struggled in the first round, allowing 12 goals on 103 shots (.883 save percentage) over four outings, which led to him being pulled in favor of Joseph Woll during Game 4. Although Toronto still lost that contest 3-1, which gave Boston a 3-1 series lead, the 25-year-old Woll would start in Games 5 and 6, earning two straight wins while saving 49 of 51 shots. However, Woll is dealing with an injury, so the Leafs will have to put their hopes in Samsonov for the deciding tilt of the series. Rotowire.com Saturday, 4:48 pm
    • Dishes pair of helpers
Rielly recorded two assists, four hits and five blocked shots in Thursday's 2-1 win over the Bruins in Game 6.

Advice: Rielly helped out on both of William Nylander's goals in the game. Through six playoff outings, Rielly has three assists, 15 shots on net, 16 hits, 11 blocked shots and a plus-4 rating. The 30-year-old defenseman continues to see significant minutes on the top pairing, but he hasn't been as efficient on offense as he was during the regular season. Rielly had 58 points and 173 shots on goal over 72 regular-season contests. Rotowire.com Thursday, 8:50 pm
    • Scores in Game 5
Kempe scored a goal on a team-high three shots in Wednesday's 4-3 Game 5 loss to Edmonton.

Advice: Kempe cut the Kings' deficit to one goal 17:42 into the third period, deflecting a Matt Roy shot past Stuart Skinner, though Los Angeles would ultimately come up short as Edmonton took the series in five games. Still, it was a strong effort from Kempe, who tallied four goals and five points in the series. He posted a career-high 75 points (28 goals, 47 assists) in 77 regular-season contests. • Two helpers in win
Forsberg provided a pair of assists, two shots on goal and four hits in Tuesday's 2-1 win over the Canucks in Game 5.

Advice: Forsberg helped out on third-period tallies by Roman Josi and Alexandre Carrier to keep the Predators' season alive for another game. Through five playoff outings, Forsberg has been solid with two goals, four assists, 14 shots on net and 17 hits. The 29-year-old winger will continue to play a leading role on offense, which should also see him earn significant power-play minutes. Rotowire.com Tuesday, 11:13 pm
