    • Rebounds after rough first period
Georgiev stopped 19 of 22 shots in Tuesday's 4-3 Game 1 overtime win over the Stars.

Advice: The Stars jumped out to a 3-0 lead in the first period, scoring three times within 10 minutes in the frame. However, Georgiev held Dallas scoreless on the team's final 13 shots over the final two periods and overtime as the Avs rallied for a 4-3 overtime victory. It's the fifth straight win for Georgiev after he dropped the first game of Colorado's opening-round series versus Winnipeg. The 28-year-old netminder sports an .889 save percentage with a 2.94 GAA in the postseason. Rotowire.com Wednesday, 7:10 am
    • Starting Game 1
Georgiev will start Tuesday on the road in Game 1 against Dallas, per Jesse Montano of Guerilla Sports.

Advice: Georgiev was a little shaky during Colorado's first-round series against the Jets, recording an .893 save percentage, but he still went 4-1 during the five-game series thanks to fantastic goal support from his teammates. The Stars are coming off a hard-fought seven-game series win over Vegas, so the Avalanche will have the upper hand in terms of rest early in on in the second round. Rotowire.com Tuesday, 10:21 am
    • Draws helper in Game 1
Pastrnak provided an assist, four shots on goal, two hits, two blocked shots and a plus-2 rating in Monday's 5-1 win over the Panthers.

Advice: Pastrnak's shot caused some chaos in front of Sergei Bobrovsky, who was able to turn it aside. Pavel Zacha then touched it over to Morgan Geekie, who ripped it in for the Bruins' first goal. Pastrnak had some big moments in the first round -- including the game-winning goal in Game 7 -- but he's been quiet by his standards with six points through eight playoff contests. The winger has added 27 shots on net, 21 hits and a plus-2 rating while playing in his usual top-six role. Rotowire.com Monday, 9:12 pm
    • Notches assist in win
Fox logged an assist, two blocked shots, two PIM and a minus-2 rating in Sunday's 4-3 win over the Hurricanes in Game 1.

Advice: Fox has a helper in each of the last three games after he was held off the scoresheet in the first two contests of the playoffs. The defenseman has added four shots on net, 15 blocked shots, five hits and a plus-2 rating. Fox will see a heavy workload on the Rangers' top pairing and first power-play unit, but he may have to focus more on defense since the Hurricanes boast a strong top six. • Finishes off first-round series
Pastrnak scored the game-winning goal in Saturday's 2-1 overtime win over the Maple Leafs in Game 7.

Advice: Pastrnak dumped the puck back to Hampus Lindholm at the Bruins' blue line and then took off to the races. Lindholm's dump-in banked off the boards perfectly to Pastrnak, who deked around Ilya Samsonov and tucked in the series-clinching goal 1:54 into overtime. The 27-year-old Pastrnak was called out by head coach Jim Montgomery to step up after going without a point in Games 5 and 6. Pastrnak made good on that challenge in a pivotal moment. He has five points, 23 shots on net, 19 hits and eight PIM over seven contests this postseason. Rotowire.com Saturday, 9:03 pm
