    • Makes playoff debut
Stolarz allowed three goals on 19 shots in relief of Sergei Bobrovsky in Saturday's 8-1 loss to the Oilers in Game 4.

Advice: Few goalies in the world could have stopped a desperate Oilers squad in Saturday's contest. Stolarz had never played in an NHL playoff game, and it was nearly two months to the day since he last drew into a game, as Bobrovsky had played every minute of the Panthers' postseason run. Head coach Paul Maurice will likely go back to Bobrovsky for Game 5 on Tuesday, so Stolarz is unlikely to play again unless Bobrovsky continues to struggle or suffers an injury. • Inks one-year deal
Ellis agreed to terms on a one-year, two-way contract with St. Louis on Tuesday.

Advice: Ellis split his time between the AHL and ECHL this season, logging 16 games for AHL Springfield in which he posted a 7-9-0 record and .924 save percentage while also going 12-5-2 for ECHL Orlando. Selected by the Blues in the third round of the 2019 NHL Draft, the Nova Scotia native shouldn't be expected to make his NHL debut anytime soon but could push for a more prominent role with the AHL Thunderbirds. • Returning to Swedish club
Alnefelt inked a three-year contract with former club HV71 (Sweden) on Tuesday.

Advice: Alnefelt is expected to be a restricted free agent this offseason, so the Lightning could retain his NHL rights by giving him a qualifying offer. Having said that, the fact that the backstop signed a three-year deal would certainly seem to indicate he won't be returning to North America. With AHL Syracuse this past season, the 23-year-old Swede went 14-8-4 with a 2.76 GAA and an .893 save percentage. Alnefelt made one appearance for the Bolts back in 2021-22, and that seems likely to be his only NHL outing for his professional career. Rotowire.com Tuesday, 6:14 am
