  • Steals Game 4 win
Skinner recorded a 33-save shutout in Sunday's 1-0 win over the Kings in Game 4.

Advice: The Oilers looked like the worse team for the first time in the series, but Skinner stepped up to deliver his first playoff shutout and his third win in four first-round games. The 25-year-old was able to make an Evan Bouchard power-play goal hold for the win Sunday. Skinner has given up 11 goals over four games versus the Kings, and he'll likely be in goal against for Wednesday's Game 5. Rotowire.com Yesterday, 11:31 pm
  • Loses low-scoring game
Rittich stopped 12 of 13 shots in Sunday's 1-0 loss to the Oilers in Game 4.

Advice: Rittich got the start after Cam Talbot struggled in the first three games of the first-round series. Rittich was solid, though Game 4 was controlled by the Kings, who couldn't find a goal against Stuart Skinner. Rittich was 13-6-3 with a 2.15 GAA and a .921 save percentage over 24 regular-season appearances. The 31-year-old may get another chance to start in Game 5 on Wednesday, though the Kings are in must-win mode down 3-1 in the series. Rotowire.com Yesterday, 11:29 pm
  • Falls short in Game 4
Lindgren allowed three goals on 22 shots in Sunday's 4-2 loss to the Rangers in Game 4. The fourth goal was an empty-netter.

Advice: Lindgren went 0-4 in the playoffs, ending the Capitals' postseason run in the first round. He allowed 14 goals on 103 shots during those four contests, putting a sour taste on an otherwise solid campaign that saw him post a 25-16-7 record, a 2.67 GAA and a .911 save percentage in 50 regular-season appearances. Lindgren is under contract for one more season, so he should have at least a timeshare role on lock for 2024-25. Rotowire.com Yesterday, 8:30 pm
  • Completes sweep of Capitals
Shesterkin stopped 23 of 25 shots in Sunday's 4-2 win over the Capitals in Game 4.

Advice: Shesterkin had no problem guiding the Rangers to a first-round sweep over the Capitals, allowing just seven goals during the series. He's won six straight games dating back to the regular season. Shesterkin will now get a little time to recharge as the Rangers await their second-round opponent, which will either be the Hurricanes or the Islanders. Rotowire.com Yesterday, 8:03 pm
  • Falters late in Game 4
Saros stopped 16 of 20 shots in Sunday's 4-3 overtime loss to the Canucks in Game 4.

Advice: The Canucks again failed to direct much traffic at Saros, but he took a loss for the third time in four games in the first round. The 29-year-old couldn't maintain a 3-1 lead late in the third period as Brock Boeser scored twice in the final three minutes to force overtime, where Elias Lindholm completed Vancouver's comeback. Saros has allowed 10 goals on 70 shots through four games in this series, and he'll now be in must-win mode beginning with Tuesday's Game 5 in Vancouver. Rotowire.com Yesterday, 7:20 pm
  • Wins playoff debut
Silovs stopped 27 of 30 shots in Sunday's 4-3 overtime win over the Predators in Game 3.

Advice: Silovs looked on track for the loss, but the Canucks scored twice in the final 2:49 of regulation and then won it 1:02 into overtime. The 23-year-old got the start because Thatcher Demko (knee) and Casey DeSmith (undisclosed) were unavailable. DeSmith's injury is considered minor, so it's possible Silovs could be back in the backup role as soon as Tuesday's Game 5 back in Vancouver. Rotowire.com Yesterday, 6:59 pm
  • Provides relief appearance
Brossoit was thrust into duty Sunday when starter Connor Hellebuyck was pulled at the end of the second period. He made four saves in relief.

Advice: After No. 1 netminder Connor Hellebuyck was pulled in the second period after allowing four goals, Brossoit took over between the pipes and turned aside all four shots sent his way. The Avalanche added an empty-netter with only 13 seconds left in the game. This was Brossoit's first appearance in the playoffs. Look for Winnipeg to return to Hellebuyck when they host Colorado on Tuesday. Rotowire.com Yesterday, 5:58 pm
  • Third straight win
Georgiev allowed one goal on 27 shots in Sunday's 5-1 home win over the Jets.

Advice: Georgiev allowed a first period goal on the fifth shot of the game but then kicked aside the next 22 shots to keep the Jets off the scoreboard. After a poor performance in game one, Georgiev has only allowed five goals on 77 shots for a .935 save percentage in the last three games. The Avalanche will look to move on to round two when they visit Winnipeg on Tuesday. Rotowire.com Yesterday, 5:10 pm
  • Recalled Sunday
Campbell was promoted from AHL Bakersfield on Sunday.

Advice: AHL Bakersfield was knocked out of the Calder Cup playoffs so Campbell will likely be serving as the third goalie for the Oilers. He went 1-4-0 with an .873 save percentage at the NHL level this season and hasn't appeared in a game at the top level since Nov. 4. Rotowire.com Yesterday, 5:08 pm
