    • Draws helper in Game 1
Pastrnak provided an assist, four shots on goal, two hits, two blocked shots and a plus-2 rating in Monday's 5-1 win over the Panthers.

Advice: Pastrnak's shot caused some chaos in front of Sergei Bobrovsky, who was able to turn it aside. Pavel Zacha then touched it over to Morgan Geekie, who ripped it in for the Bruins' first goal. Pastrnak had some big moments in the first round -- including the game-winning goal in Game 7 -- but he's been quiet by his standards with six points through eight playoff contests. The winger has added 27 shots on net, 21 hits and a plus-2 rating while playing in his usual top-six role. Rotowire.com Yesterday, 9:12 pm
    • Finishes off first-round series
Pastrnak scored the game-winning goal in Saturday's 2-1 overtime win over the Maple Leafs in Game 7.

Advice: Pastrnak dumped the puck back to Hampus Lindholm at the Bruins' blue line and then took off to the races. Lindholm's dump-in banked off the boards perfectly to Pastrnak, who deked around Ilya Samsonov and tucked in the series-clinching goal 1:54 into overtime. The 27-year-old Pastrnak was called out by head coach Jim Montgomery to step up after going without a point in Games 5 and 6. Pastrnak made good on that challenge in a pivotal moment. He has five points, 23 shots on net, 19 hits and eight PIM over seven contests this postseason. Rotowire.com Saturday, 9:03 pm
    • Two points in Game 5 loss
Nelson scored an even-strength goal and added a power-play assist Tuesday in a 6-3 loss to the Hurricanes in Game 5.

Advice: The 32-year-old center did his best to keep his team alive in an elimination game, but the Isles simply didn't have the firepower to keep up with Carolina. Nelson picked up two goals and four points in five postseason contests after supplying 34 goals and 69 points in the regular season, his third straight campaign with 30-plus goals. He has one more season left on his current contract with a $6 million AAV, but there's just $4 million in salary left on Nelson's deal. Rotowire.com Wednesday, 7:44 am

    • Recovering from quad tear
Johansson, who was previously listed as being out with a lower-body injury, sustained a quad tear March 30, Chris Krenn of the Lightning's official site reports Wednesday.

Advice: Johansson finished the campaign with a 12-7-5 record, 3.37 GAA and .890 save percentage across 26 regular-season appearances. He still has one season left on his two-year, $1.55 million contract, so the 28-year-old goaltender will likely remain on the Lightning roster in 2024-25 as the backup netminder behind Andrei Vasilevskiy. • Stuck with loss in Game 5
Vasilevskiy allowed four goals on 37 shots in Monday's 6-1 loss to the Panthers in Game 5. The last two goals were empty-netters.

Advice: Vasilevskiy couldn't hold back the relentless Panthers offense, taking his fourth loss in five playoff games. The 29-year-old gave up 16 goals on 156 shots, good for an .897 save percentage, during the postseason. Vasilevskiy remains entrenched as the Lightning's No. 1 goalie heading in 2024-25, though he'll be looking to rebound from the statistically worst season of his career -- he had a 30-20-2 record, a 2.90 GAA and a .900 save percentage in 52 regular-season outings in 2023-24. • Produces assist
Forsling notched a shorthanded assist, two shots on goal, three blocked shots and a plus-4 rating in Monday's 6-1 win over the Lightning in Game 5.

Advice: Forsling recorded four helpers over five games in the first round. The defenseman also has nine shots on net, nine hits, 11 blocks and plus-5 rating in the postseason. Forsling continues to be a key defenseman for the Panthers and should see top-four minutes throughout the playoffs. Rotowire.com Monday, 9:18 pm
    • Pockets helper in win
Ekblad notched a shorthanded assist, eight hits, two PIM and a plus-2 rating in Monday's 6-1 win over the Lightning in Game 5.

Advice: Ekblad set up the first of Aleksander Barkov's two goals in the game. Through five playoff contests, Ekblad has two helpers, six shots on net, 25 hits, nine blocked shots and a plus-4 rating. The 28-year-old continues to handle a heavy workload on the Panthers' top pairing, though he's been seeing minimal power-play time. Rotowire.com Monday, 9:16 pm
    • Tending twine Monday
Vasilevskiy will get the starting nod for Monday's Game 5 road tilt with the Panthers, Gabby Shirley of Bally Sports Florida reports.

Advice: Vasilevskiy allowed three goals on 25 shots in Saturday's Game 4 win to avoid being swept. He's registered an .899 save percentage through four games this series. Dating back to the regular season, he's dropped six of his last eight games while posting an .891 save percentage. Vasilevskiy hasn't won two straight games since March 27 and 30. • Collects assist in Game 4 win
Trouba recorded an assist, two shots on goal, six hits and five blocked shots in Sunday's 4-2 win over the Capitals in Game 4.

Advice: Trouba has a helper in each of the last two contests after going 11 games without a point following his return from a lower-body injury at the end of March. The defenseman added 17 hits, 21 blocked shots and a plus-4 rating over four playoff outings. Trouba should continue to serve in a shutdown role for the Rangers heading into the second round. He had 22 points, 191 hits and 183 blocked shots over 69 regular-season appearances. Rotowire.com Apr 28, 8:25 pm
