    • Goal, assist in win
Heiskanen scored a goal on four shots, added an assist, logged three hits and blocked three shots in a 3-2 overtime win over the Golden Knights in Saturday's Game 3.

Advice: Heiskanen helped out on Wyatt Johnston's first-period marker before scoring a goal of his own in the second. With four points, eight shots on net, nine hits and eight blocked shots over three playoff outings, Heiskanen is doing a little of everything. The 24-year-old will continue to see heavy usage in a top-pairing role, especially since head coach Pete DeBoer has displayed limited trust in No. 6 blueliner Nils Lundkvist, who saw just 2:21 of ice time Saturday. • Tallies in Saturday's win
Pastrnak scored a goal on four shots, levied three hits and added two PIM in Saturday's 3-1 win over the Maple Leafs in Game 4.

Advice: Pastrnak has two goals and two assists through four outings in the first round. His tally Saturday was a back-breaker for Toronto, as it came with 42 seconds left in the second period to put Boston up 3-0. Pastrnak continues to see his usual top-six minutes with ample power-play time as a leader on offense for the Bruins. Rotowire.com Yesterday, 8:21 pm
    • Sets up power-play goal in win
Fox emerged with a power-play assist in Friday's 3-1 win over the Capitals to take Game 3.

Advice: Fox didn't have a point in the previous two games of the series, which comes as a bit of a surprise after he doled out 56 helpers on his way to 73 points in the regular season. Nonetheless, the Rangers have the momentum and are in prime position to try and advance to the second round in Sunday's Game 4 matchup on the road. Rotowire.com Yesterday, 6:06 am
    • Steadfast in Game 3 win
DeSmith denied 29 of 30 shots from the Predators on Friday, culminating in a 2-1 win to take Game 3.

Advice: DeSmith emerged with his first career playoff victory, as he drew his second straight start in place of Thatcher Demko (undisclosed). While the Predators scored with 3:12 remaining in the third period, it wasn't quite enough to flip the script. DeSmith was laser focused while helping his team kill all four penalties, plus he worked against the grain of the Canucks' minus-18 shot differential. Demko has a week-to-week return timeline, meaning DeSmith will likely draw the Game 4 start in Nashville on Sunday. Rotowire.com Yesterday, 4:32 am
    • Active presence in Game 3 win
Kane scored a goal on four shots, dished an assist, added 15 PIM and logged three hits in Friday's 6-1 win over the Kings in Game 3.

Advice: Kane helped out on a Leon Draisaitl tally in the first period, scored a goal of his own in the second and then fought Andreas Englund to complete the Gordie Howe hat trick in the third. This was a classic Kane performance in a nutshell, with offense and physicality in equal parts. He's collected 11 hits, 14 shots on net, 15 PIM and two points through three playoff outings after being cleared following a three-game absence due to a sports hernia at the end of the regular season. • Wins Game 3
Georgiev stopped 22 of 24 shots in Friday's 6-2 win over the Jets in Game 3.

Advice: Georgiev appears to have gotten himself back on track, allowing just four goals on 54 shots over the past two games, both being Avalanche wins. He had a rough second period Friday, but the Avalanche's offense took over in the third. Now that he has consecutive wins for the first time in over a month, there should be less chatter of head coach Jared Bednar switching away from Georgiev going forward. Game 4 is Sunday in Colorado. • Gets starting nod Friday
Georgiev will be between the pipes at home for Game 3 versus Winnipeg on Friday, Kyle Fredrickson of The Denver Gazette reports.

Advice: Georgiev was downright bad in Game 1 on Sunday, giving up seven goals on 23 shots (.696 save percentage), but he bounced back in Game 2 to even up the best-of-seven series. With Justus Annunen (illness) ready to serve as the backup Friday, a bad performance in Game 3 could see Georgiev relegated to the No. 2 role going forward. Rotowire.com Friday, 10:24 am
    • Goal streak at three games
Stamkos scored a goal on two shots and added six hits, two blocked shots and a minus-2 rating Thursday in a 5-3 loss to the Panthers in Game 3 of the Lightning's first-round series.

Advice: The 34-year-old has done his best to keep Tampa Bay afloat, finding the back of the net in three straight games to begin the playoffs, but his team still faces the prospect of getting swept after losing all three contests. Stamkos also has a couple career milestones in his sights -- he needs two more playoff goals for 50 in his caree, and one more playoff point for 100. He might need to reach both marks Saturday in Game 4 in order for the Lightning to stay alive. Rotowire.com Friday, 8:04 am
    • Two more points Thursday
Svechnikov recorded two assists in Thursday's 3-2 Game 3 win over the Islanders.

Advice: Svechnikov set up Dmitry Orlov's goal midway through the first period before adding a second helper on Sebastian Aho's eventual game-winning tally in the second. It's Svechnikov's second straight two-assist game. The 24-year-old winger had 19 goals and 52 points in 59 regular-season contests. Rotowire.com Friday, 7:08 am
