    • Fills stat sheet Friday
Draisaitl scored a power-play goal on four shots, dished three assists, added two PIM and went plus-2 in Friday's 4-3 overtime win over the Canucks in Game 2.

Advice: Not bad for a guy who was considered a game-time decision after dealing with cramping issues in Wednesday's Game 1 and skipping practice Thursday. Draisaitl was involved in all of the Oilers' goals, including scoring their first one of the game. He was listed on the first line with Connor McDavid rather than centering his own line, though both players shared faceoff duties. Draisaitl is up to six goals, 10 assists, 30 shots on net and a plus-3 rating through seven playoff outings, and he's yet to be held off the scoresheet this postseason. Rotowire.com 25 minutes ago
    • Expected to play Friday
Draisaitl (undisclosed) is warming up and is expected to suit up against the Canucks for Game 2 on Friday, Elliotte Friedman of Sportsnet reports.

Advice: Draisaitl missed a morning skate after dealing with cramping issues during Wednesday's Game 1 loss. Fortunately for Edmonton, he shouldn't miss any additional time. The star forward has five goals and 12 points through six games this postseason. Draisaitl tallied two assists in Game 1 against Vancouver. Rotowire.com Today, 6:39 pm
    • Questionable for Game 2
Draisaitl (undisclosed) is day-to-day and questionable for Game 2 against Vancouver on Friday, Daniel Nugent-Bowman of The Athletic reports Thursday.

Advice: Draisaitl dealt with a cramping issue during the second period of Wednesday's 5-4 loss to the Canucks, though he was able to return in the third frame. However, the 28-year-old forward then missed Thursday's morning skate, per Tony Brar of Oilers TV. Draisaitl's value to the Oilers can't be overstated. He has five goals and 12 points through six playoff outings. If he's unable to play and Adam Henrique (lower body) returns after missing Game 1, then perhaps Henrique will serve as Edmonton's second-line center. However, if neither forward is available, then Ryan McLeod might be moved into that top-six role. Rotowire.com Yesterday, 2:25 pm
    • Grabs two helpers
Draisaitl recorded a pair of assists in Wednesday's 5-4 Game 1 loss to Vancouver. According to Elliotte Friedman of Sportsnet, Draisaitl was dealing with cramps in the second period before returning in the third.

Advice: Draisaitl managed just 16:43 of ice time due to his cramping issue, his lowest total during a game this postseason. Still, the world-class center has registered at least a point in all six playoff contests, racking up a combined five goals and seven helpers, including eight power-play points. • Registers helper
Frederic recorded an assist, six hits, 10 PIM and a plus-2 rating in Monday's 5-1 win over the Panthers in Game 1.

Advice: Frederic helped out on Brandon Carlo's goal late in the second period. The 26-year-old Frederic is up to four points through eight playoff contests, solid work for a player in a third-line role with virtually no power-play time. He's added 34 hits, 10 PIM and a plus-7 rating. Frederic can offer solid play as a checking forward, but consistent offense is likely too much to ask of him. Rotowire.com Monday, 9:17 pm

    • Pots goal in Game 1 loss
Jarvis scored a goal on three shots in Sunday's 4-3 loss to the Rangers in Game 1.

Advice: Jarvis' tally came with 1:45 left in the third period, but the Hurricanes were unable to find an equalizer. The winger has been strong so far in the playoffs with four goals, four assists, 14 shots on net, 14 hits and a plus-4 rating over six appearances. While he's listed on the Hurricanes' third line, his usage has been more in line with a top-six forward, especially with a significant power-play role. Rotowire.com Sunday, 5:02 pm

    • Two goals to clinch series
Draisaitl scored a pair of goals on a team-high six shots in Wednesday's 4-3 Game 5 victory over the Kings.

Advice: Draisaitl tied the game 2-2 midway through the second period with a power-play goal before putting Edmonton ahead just a few minutes later with a second tally, beating David Rittich with a one-timer off a Connor McDavid feed. It was an excellent start to the post-season for Draisaitl -- the 28-year-old center tallied five goals and 10 points in the Oilers' decisive five-game series victory. Rotowire.com Thursday, 7:21 am
    • Three points to finish off Isles
Jarvis scored a goal and added two assists, one on the power play, in a 6-3 win over the Islanders on Tuesday in Game 5.

Advice: The 22-year-old helped set up Carolina's first two tallies as the team grabbed a 2-0 lead inside the first four minutes of the first period. Jarvis then iced things late with an empty-netter. He piled up three goals and seven points in five games against the Isles, giving him plenty of momentum heading into the Hurricanes' second-round clash with the Rangers.
