    Lindgren said Tuesday that he suffered a cracked rib in the Rangers' May 16 win over the Hurricanes in the second round of the Eastern Conference playoffs, Mollie Walker of the New York Post reports.

    Advice: Lindgren was held out of a few practices leading up to the Eastern Conference Finals due to the injury, but he proceeded to play in all six of games in the Rangers' eventual 4-2 series loss to the Panthers, tallying two assists while averaging 19:07 in ice time.     Zamula recorded five goals, 16 assists and nine power-play points in 66 regular-season games this year.

    Advice: Zamula finally was able to crack the Flyers' roster as a full-time player this season after having previously logged just 26 games over the prior three campaigns. The 24-year-old blueliner will need a new contract this summer but, as a restricted free agent, should be back in the fold ahead of training camp in the fall.     Mateychuk was reassigned from WHL Moose Jaw to AHL Cleveland on Monday.

    Advice: Mateychuk could make his professional debut in Tuesday's Game 3 Calder Cup clash with AHL Hershey, boosting the team's blue-line depth. With junior club WHL Moose Jaw, the 19-year-old Winnipeg native generated 17 goals and 58 assists in 52 regular-season outings before adding another 30 points in 20 postseason contests.
