Hey Guys,
Welcome back to another Fantasy season! I have implemented a few changes for this year but most settings and scoring remains the same.
- I have changed max moves from 45 to 40 so please keep this in mind when making moves throughout the season, once you reach your maximum you will not be allowed to add new players.
- I have removed 1 defense man spot and replaced it with a Utility spot which can be filled by any forward. Our rosters will look like the following: CC,RWRW,LWLW,Utility,DDD with 3 bench spots and 2 starting goalies.
- I changed the +/- from .25 of a point to .15 of a point.
- I changed the playoff seeding so the winners of each division now get the best playoff seeds instead of going by overall standings like last year.
As for payouts, I received several complaints regarding the highest weekly point total being too high and the first regular season prize being too low so hopefully the new payout structure better reflects these views moving forward.
First Regular Season: $120
Highest Weekly Point Total: $80
First Place Playoffs: $360
Second Place Playoffs: $180
Third Place Playoffs: $100
As always, the highest weekly point total reflects only regular season full week scoring. Extended weeks due to the all-star game or the beginning of the season are excluded from this prize.
