    Necas scored a goal and added an assist in Monday's 4-1 victory over the Rangers in Game 5.

    Advice: Necas had a secondary helper on Jordan Martinook's third-period tally before scoring an empty-net goal in Monday's win. It's the first time since Game 1 of Carolina's first-round series against the Islanders that Necas has registered two points in a game.     Dadonov scored a goal on three shots in Monday's 5-1 win over the Avalanche in Game 4.

    Advice: Dadonov tallied midway through the third period to shut down the Avalanche's hopes of a comeback. The winger has a goal and an assist over his last two games after going four contests without a point.     Johnston scored two goals on eight shots, added an assist and went plus-2 in Monday's 5-1 win over the Avalanche in Game 4.

    Advice: Johnston opened the scoring with a shorthanded goal on a rebound in the first period. He added a power-play marker in the second and set up Sam Steel's empty-netter in the third. Johnston had been held off the scoresheet in the previous two games. That hasn't stopped him from looking like a standout for the Stars with seven goals, four assists, 39 shots on net and a plus-2 rating over 11 playoff appearances.     Nichushkin was placed in the NHL/NHLPA Player Assistance Program on Monday and will be suspended for six months.

    Advice: Nichushkin was in the program during the regular season, missing 22 games as a result. Now, he's in Stage 3 of the program and will need to apply for reinstatement after a six-month suspension. He scored 28 goals and 53 points through 54 games this season.     Pastrnak scored a goal on the power play in Sunday's 3-2 loss to Florida in Game 4.

    Advice: Pastrnak wired home a one-timer in the first period for his fourth goal of the postseason.
