    • Sets up opening goal
Draisaitl registered an assist and three shots on goal in Friday's 5-1 win over the Panthers in Game 7.

Advice: Draisaitl's goal drought is up to eight games, but he's picked up three helpers over the last three contests. The 28-year-old set up Warren Foegele for the Oilers' opening goal Friday. Draisaitl is at 31 points, 73 shots on net, 23 hits, 16 blocked shots and a plus-1 rating through 24 playoff outings. Rotowire.com Friday, 9:29 pm
    • Tallies in Game 6 win
Henrique scored a goal, went plus-2, added two hits and blocked two shots in Friday's 5-1 win over the Panthers in Game 6.

Advice: Henrique has three points over his last four games -- he's helped the Oilers pull back from a 3-0 deficit in the series. The forward remains in a third-line role with minimal power-play time, but he's been effective as a two-way skater during the playoffs. For the postseason, he's picked up seven points, 12 shots on net and 50 hits over 16 appearances. Rotowire.com Friday, 9:02 pm
    • Sets record for era
Hyman scored a goal and added three hits in Friday's 5-1 win over the Panthers in Game 6.

Advice: Hyman's goal was his 16th of the playoffs, giving him the record for the most goals in a single postseason in the salary-cap era. He's picked up four points over his last three games after going scoreless in the first three contests of the Stanley Cup Finals. He's at 22 points, 88 shots on net, 52 hits and a plus-12 rating through 24 appearances. Rotowire.com Friday, 8:59 pm
    • Two points in win
Foegele scored a goal and added an assist in Friday's 5-1 win over the Panthers in Game 6.

Advice: Foegele has stepped up big in this series -- he's racked up two goals and three assists during his four-game point streak. The winger had just three points over his first 17 playoff appearances this year. Foegele is likely to remain on the second line for Monday's Game 7 as the Oilers try to complete the reverse sweep. • Out for Game 6
Kane (abdomen) will not play Friday against the Panthers, Bob Stauffer of the Oilers Radio Network reports.

Advice: Kane was considered a game-time call but will miss his fourth straight contest. The veteran winger has eight points in 20 games this postseason and was held scoreless with a minus-4 rating through two appearances against Florida prior to his injury. His status for a potential Game 7 on Monday is unclear at this time. Rotowire.com Friday, 4:49 pm
    • Dealt to New Jersey
Beckman was traded to the Devils from Minnesota in exchange for Graeme Clarke on Friday.

Advice: Beckman played 11 regular-season games at the NHL level in 2023-24, picking up a pair of assists over that stretch. He also scored 19 goals and had 33 points in 51 AHL regular-season games with Iowa. Look for Beckman to challenge for a bottom-six role with the Devils during training camp. • Questionable for Friday
Kane (abdomen) skated at morning practice Thursday, but his status for Game 6 versus Florida on Friday is up in the air, Jason Gregor of Sports 1440 Edmonton reports.

Advice: Kane, who has missed the last three games with the injury, skated on the fifth line at practice and never had an opportunity to play with the regulars. Kane has four goals, four assists and 47 PIM in 20 playoff games this season. Rotowire.com Thursday, 10:35 am
    • Moving to Washington
Dubois was acquired by the Capitals from the Kings on Wednesday in exchange for Darcy Kuemper.

Advice: The Kings made a big bet on Dubois in the summer of 2023, trading Alex Iafallo, Gabriel Vilardi, Rasmus Kupari and a 2024 second-round pick to get him from the Jets. The move also involved signing Dubois to an eight-year, $68 million contract. The idea was that the center, who provides a strong blend of grit and skill, would make the Kings deep up the middle in the short term and perhaps even be the eventual successor to Anze Kopitar. However, Dubois went from recording at least 60 points in each of his previous two campaigns to finishing with 16 goals and 40 points across 82 regular-season contests in 2023-24. Averaging 15:42 of ice time this season, down from 18:27 in 2022-23, probably didn't help his offensive production, so perhaps the move to Washington will do him some good. Nicklas Backstrom (hip) isn't expected to play at all next season, which leaves the door open for Dubois to possibly serve as the Capitals' top-line center. Rotowire.com Wednesday, 12:22 pm
    • Inks three-year deal
MacLean signed a three-year contract with the Islanders on Wednesday.

Advice: New York didn't release the financial details of the deal, but CapFriendly later reported that MacLean will carry a $775,000 cap hit. The 25-year-old had four goals, nine points, 11 PIM and 60 hits in 32 regular-season outings with the Islanders in 2023-24. He also collected six goals, 22 points and 32 PIM in 43 regular-season appearances with AHL Bridgeport, though the one-way nature of this deal suggests he is likely to stick at the NHL level.
