    • Signing eight-year extension
Saros agreed to terms on an eight-year, $61.92 million contract with Nashville, Chris Johnston of The Athletic reports Friday.

Advice: Saros technically can't put pen to paper until the new league year opens Monday, but it seems the two sides have already worked out the details of a max-term deal for the netminder. At 29 years of age, and with one season remaining on his current contract, this deal essentially will tie Saros to the Predators for the remainder of his career -- barring a future trade. Considering the Finn has hit the 60-game threshold and 30-win mark in each of his last three seasons, fantasy players can likely expect more of the same heading into the 2024-25 campaign and beyond. • Making jump to North America
Akhtyamov is expected to move to Toronto ahead of the 2024-25 campaign, Terry Koshan of The Toronto Sun reports Wednesday.

Advice: Akhtyamov almost certainly will wind up with AHL Toronto this upcoming season considering he is just 22 years of age. Still, the backstop should get the opportunity to show the Maple Leafs what he can do during training camp. Last year with AK Bars in the KHL, Akhtyamov went 6-7-0 with a .921 save percentage and 2.51 GAA. Rotowire.com Wednesday, 8:42 am
    • Falls short in Florida
Skinner stopped 19 of 21 shots in Monday's 2-1 loss to the Panthers in Game 7.

Advice: Skinner was unable to extend his winning streak to four games, and the Oilers ended up a win shy of the Stanley Cup. While there were some rough patches for Skinner this postseason, he ended up with a 14-9 record, a 2.45 GAA and a .901 save percentage over 23 appearances. The 25-year-old looks firmly entrenched as the Oilers' starting goalie heading into 2024-25. Rotowire.com Monday, 9:13 pm
    • Makes 23 saves in Game 7 win
Bobrovsky stopped 23 of 24 shots in Monday's 2-1 win over the Oilers in Game 7.

Advice: Bobrovsky was able to shake off a three-game losing streak just in time. He was back in vintage form, and he stepped up with the Oilers pressing while searching for a tying goal that never came in the third period. Bobrovsky ends the postseason at 16-8 with a 2.32 GAA and a .906 save percentage over 24 contests. The newly minted Stanley Cup champion has made good on the seven-year, $70 million deal he signed in 2019, which runs through the 2025-26 campaign. Rotowire.com Monday, 8:49 pm
    • Traded to Boston
Korpisalo was traded from Ottawa to Boston along with Mark Kastelic and a 2024 first-round pick in exchange for Linus Ullmark on Monday.

Advice: Just one year after signing a five-year, $20 million deal with the Senators, Korpisalo will now suit up for his fourth team in three years. He posted a 3.27 GAA and an .890 save percentage in 55 games in 2023-24. He's expected to take on a much lighter role behind Jeremy Swayman in Boston, as the latter is currently a restricted free agent. Rotowire.com Monday, 4:57 pm
    • Dealt to Ottawa
Boston traded Ullmark to the Senators for Joonas Korpisalo, Mark Kastelic and a 2024 first-round pick Monday.

Advice: Ullmark will head to Ottawa with one year remaining on his contract, but it seems likely that the team will look to work out an extension. He won the Vezina Trophy during the 2022-23 campaign with just 49 regular-season appearances and split the workload with Jeremy Swayman again for most of this season, producing a .915 save percentage and a 2.58 GAA in the process. With Korpisalo heading to the Bruins, Ullmark should see more action during the 2024-25 campaign while Anton Forsberg serves as the backup. Ullmark appeared in just two of Boston's 13 postseason games. Rotowire.com Monday, 4:52 pm
    • Agrees to one-year deal
Bussi signed a one-year, two-way contract with Boston on Monday.

Advice: Bussi posted a 23-10-5 record with a 2.67 GAA and a .913 save percentage in 41 regular-season games with AHL Providence in 2023-24. The 25-year-old netminder doesn't have any NHL experience yet. He will probably spend most, if not all, of the 2024-25 campaign in the minors, though that could change if the Bruins make a trade involving a goaltender. Rotowire.com Monday, 2:26 pm

    • Guarding cage in Game 7
Skinner will be between the pipes for Game 7 on the road against the Panthers on Monday.

Advice: Skinner and the Oilers will be looking for a fourth consecutive win and the Stanley Cup title in Monday's matchup. Over the last three outings, the 25-year-old netminder is sporting a 1.67 GAA and .942 save percentage. The Edmonton-born netminder will go up against Sergei Bobrovsky in the other crease in the final game of the 2023-24 campaign. Rotowire.com Monday, 6:23 am
    • Tending twine in Game 7
Bobrovsky will patrol the home crease Monday in Game 7 against Edmonton, according to Colby Guy of The Palm Beach Post.

Advice: Bobrovsky will be back on the ice for Monday's morning skate after skipping Sunday's session for routine-related reasons. He has surrendered 12 goals on 58 shots during his three-game losing streak. Bobrovsky needs to end that skid Monday for the Panthers to avoid becoming the second team in NHL history to blow a 3-0 series lead in the Stanley Cup Finals. The 35-year-old netminder has a 15-8 record with a 2.38 GAA and a .903 save percentage through 23 starts this postseason. Rotowire.com Sunday, 12:43 pm
