    • Signs three-year deal
Myers inked a three-year, $9 million contract with the Canucks on Thursday.

Advice: Myers had five goals, 29 points, 77 PIM, 110 hits and 136 blocks in 77 regular-season contests with Vancouver in 2023-24. He's taking a significant pay cut compared to his previous seven-year, $38.5 million contract, but that's appropriate given that he'll turn 38 before this deal expires. Myers is likely to start the 2024-25 campaign on the second or third pairing. Rotowire.com Yesterday, 3:40 pm
    • Involved in trade
Burroughs was acquired by the Kings from the Sharks on Thursday in exchange for Carl Grundstrom.

Advice: Burroughs had two goals, eight points, 71 PIM, 233 hits and 134 blocks in 73 contests with San Jose in 2023-24. He has two seasons remaining on his three-year, $3.3 million contract. Although the 28-year-old won't make much of an offensive impact with LA, the gritty blueliner figures to plug in nicely on the Kings' third pairing. While his minus-42 rating was the fifth worst in the league, the move to LA should have a massive positive impact on him in that category. Rotowire.com Yesterday, 11:25 am
    • Set for buyout
Suter will be bought out of the last year of his contract by the Stars, Jeff Marek of Sportsnet reports Thursday.

Advice: Suter is still on the books for the Wild after they previously bought out his contract and will now potentially be costing three different clubs cap space -- assuming he signs elsewhere when the free-agent window opens Monday. During his three-year stint with the Stars, the veteran defenseman played all 246 regular-season games, in which he tallied 12 goals and 62 assists. Given his age, the Madison, Wisconsin native could also opt to hang up his skates rather than extend his career. Rotowire.com Yesterday, 7:07 am
    • Acquired in trade
San Jose acquired Walman and a 2024 second-round pick from Detroit on Tuesday in exchange for future considerations.

Advice: Walman produced 12 goals, 21 points, 108 shots on net and 151 blocked shots in 63 games during the 2023-24 campaign. The 28-year-old defender has two more seasons left on his three-year, $10.2 million contract. As a member of the Sharks, Walman could occupy a top-four role and see power-play time. • Inks two-year contract
Kolyachonok signed a two-year contract with Utah on Tuesday.

Advice: Kolyachonok earned one goal, three assists, five shots on net, six blocked shots and four hits in five NHL outings this past season. He also collected eight goals and 11 points in 36 regular-season contests for AHL Tucson during the 2023-24 campaign. He will compete for a depth spot on the Utah blue line during training camp in the fall. Rotowire.com Tuesday, 10:52 am
    • Staying with club
DeMelo inked a four-year, $19.6 million contract with Winnipeg on Tuesday.

Advice: DeMelo was able to get a new deal signed ahead of the start of free agency Monday, tying himself to the Jets for another four seasons. Last year, the veteran blueliner played in all 82 regular-season contests while putting up three goals, 28 assists and 83 shots. While DeMelo is never going to be a Norris Trophy candidate, he should be able to replicate that production next season, making him a decent mid-range fantasy target. Rotowire.com Tuesday, 8:09 am
    • Contributes assist in loss
Ceci posted an assist and two hits in Monday's 2-1 loss to the Panthers in Game 7.

Advice: Ceci set up a breakaway goal for Mattias Janmark in the first period. The helper ended a nine-game drought for Ceci, who was also scratched in Game 2 of the Stanley Cup Finals. The 30-year-old defenseman had five points, 24 shots on net, 37 hits, 30 blocked shots and a minus-5 rating over 24 playoff outings. He's under contract for 2024-25, but with that being the last year on his deal, the Oilers may shop him around if they want to remodel their blue line. Rotowire.com Monday, 9:20 pm
    • Delivers assist Monday
Kulikov notched an assist in Monday's 2-1 win over the Oilers in Game 7.

Advice: Kulikov's only two points in the playoffs were both assists, and they came in the last two games. The defenseman added 56 hits, 25 blocked shots and a minus-1 rating while playing in a bottom-pairing role over 24 postseason appearances. The 33-year-old is set to be an unrestricted free agent this summer, one of three regulars on the Panthers' blue line that could hit the open market July 1. Rotowire.com Monday, 9:10 pm
    • Won't return to Sharks
Addison, who would have been a restricted free agent July 1, will not be re-signed by the Sharks, Max Miller of The Hockey News reports Monday. As such, Addison will be an unrestricted free agent when the market opens Monday.

Advice: Addison saw action in 60 games for San Jose this season in which he garnered one goal on 75 shots, 11 assists and six power-play points after he was traded from the Wild. While he may not rejoin the Sharks, the 24-year-old blueliner should earn a contract somewhere in the NHL. Depending on where he ends up, Addison could be in line for minutes with the No. 2 power-play unit, which would bolster his fantasy value. Rotowire.com Monday, 1:24 pm
