      Kochetkov will get the starting nod at home versus the Rangers in Game 3 on Thursday, Cory Lavalette of the North State Journal reports.

      Advice: Kochetkov will make his first appearance in goal for the Canes since April 14 against the Blackhawks, a stretch of eight games on the bench. While the team did split the workload between the 24-year-old backstop and Frederik Andersen down the stretch, if Kochetkov does secure a win in Game 3, he should probably be considered a lock to start Game 4 as well.       Advice: Hyman opened the scoring with a power-play marker 2:11 into the first period before extending Edmonton's lead to 4-1 with another tally in the second, sliding a wrister under the pad of Arturs Silovs. Hyman's picked up where he left off in the regular season -- he's scored at least one goal in five of his six playoff games this year, totaling nine goals and 10 points over that stretch.       Ullmark allowed two goals on 10 shots after replacing Jeremy Swayman in the third period of Wednesday's 6-1 loss to the Panthers in Game 2.

      Advice: Swayman allowed three goals in the second period and a fourth tally 1:28 into the third before the Bruins turned to Ullmark in net. While Swayman would wind up with the loss, Ullmark didn't fair much better, allowing two more goals later in the frame. The 30-year-old Ullmark hadn't made an appearance since Game 2 of Boston's opening-round series against Toronto, when he allowed three goals on 34 shots in a loss. However, the Bruins could turn to Ullmark in net for Friday's Game 3 following Swayman's rough Game 2 outing, though that may be a bit unlikely given how great Swayman has been in the playoffs so far.       Benn notched a goal and an assist in Tuesday's 4-3 Game 1 overtime loss to the Avalanche.

      Advice: Benn set up Wyatt Johnston's goal midway through the first period before extending Dallas' lead to 3-0 later in the frame, deflecting a Jason Robertson shot past Alexandar Georgiev on the power play. It's the first multi-point game for Benn so far in the postseason -- he's up to two goals and five points through eight playoff contests.       Pastrnak provided an assist, four shots on goal, two hits, two blocked shots and a plus-2 rating in Monday's 5-1 win over the Panthers.

      Advice: Pastrnak's shot caused some chaos in front of Sergei Bobrovsky, who was able to turn it aside. Pavel Zacha then touched it over to Morgan Geekie, who ripped it in for the Bruins' first goal. Pastrnak had some big moments in the first round -- including the game-winning goal in Game 7 -- but he's been quiet by his standards with six points through eight playoff contests.       Hill surrendered two goals on 24 shots in Sunday's 2-1 loss to the Stars in Game 7.

      Advice: A turnover led to the Stars' first goal, and they scored again early in the third period on the first shift of the frame. Hill went 1-2 with five goals allowed on 72 shots over the final three contests of the series after losing the starting job to Logan Thompson at the beginning of the playoffs. Hill is under contract for next year and should continue to split the goaltending duties with Thompson, barring any trades that change the composition of the Golden Knights' crease.       Advice: Zibanejad scored the Rangers' first two goals and added an assist on a Vincent Trocheck tally. All three of Zibanejad's points came in the first period, and two of them were on the power play. He's racked up four straight multi-point efforts and his point streak is at 11 games (five goals, 13 helpers) dating back to April 5.       Advice: Hill blanked the Stars with 23 saves in a 2-0 win in Friday's Game 6. He will make his third straight start after Logan Thompson played in the first four games of Vegas' first-round series.
