    • Keeps scoring Thursday
Nichushkin scored a goal on three shots in Thursday's 5-3 loss to the Stars in Game 2.

Advice: Nichushkin's tally brought the Avalanche within a goal late in the third period, but they couldn't pull off another stunning comeback. The winger has at least one goal in all seven playoff contests so far, scoring nine times with one assist, 24 shots on net, 18 hits and a plus-3 rating. Nichushkin was shuffled to the second line during Thursday's game, but that's unlikely to hamper his production even if it ends up being a more permanent move. Rotowire.com Yesterday, 10:27 pm
    • Drops Game 2
Georgiev allowed four goals on 30 shots in Thursday's 5-3 loss to the Stars in Game 2. The fifth goal was an empty-netter.

Advice: Georgiev and the Avalanche again found themselves in a hole early on, and the comeback effort fell short this time around. Georgiev's five-game winning streak was snapped, and he's now allowed 10 goals over his last three outings. The Stars are giving him trouble early in games, though he may be able to get back on track with this second-round series shifting back to Colorado for Games 3 and 4 on Saturday and Monday, respectively. • Helps out on power play
Robertson recorded a power-play assist and three blocked shots in Thursday's 5-3 win over the Avalanche in Game 2.

Advice: Robertson helped out on the first of Miro Heiskanen's two goals in the game. This was Robertson's second straight game with an assist, and he's up to seven points (four on the power play) through nine playoff contests. The first-line winger has added 18 shots on net, 17 hits, 11 blocked shots and a minus-6 rating during the postseason. Rotowire.com Yesterday, 10:10 pm
    • Between pipes against Stars
Georgiev will tend the twine on the road in Game 2 against Dallas on Thursday, Jesse Montano of Guerilla Sports reports

Advice: Georgiev is riding a five-game winning streak during which he's posted a 2.12 GAA and .921 save percentage. Even though the 28-year-old backstop stumbled in Game 1 of the Avalanche's first-round matchup with Winnipeg, coach Jared Bednar has stuck with Georgiev and will likely continue to do so even if he stumbles again. As such, fantasy players probably shouldn't expect to see Justus Annunen anytime soon. Rotowire.com Yesterday, 10:06 am
    • Four points in Game 2
Barkov tallied two goals and two assists in Wednesday's 6-1 win over the Bruins in Game 2.

Advice: Barkov powered the Panthers' offense in the convincing series-tying victory, putting Florida ahead 2-1 with a tally in the second period before adding another goal and two helpers in the third. The 28-year-old Barkov now has four goals and eight points in his last three games after going scoreless in his previous three contests. He's up to 10 points (four goals, six assists) through seven postseason contests. Rotowire.com Wednesday, 8:39 pm
    • Extends goal streak
Nichushkin logged a goal and an assist in Tuesday's 4-3 Game 1 overtime win over the Stars.

Advice: Nichushkin got the Avs on the board 5:31 into the second period on the power play, sliding a loose puck past Jake Oettinger before adding a second point on the man advantage with an assist on Cale Makar's tally later in the frame. Nichushkin's been on fire to start the playoffs, scoring in six straight games while totaling eight goals and nine points overall. The 29-year-old winger tallied 28 goals and 53 points, both career highs, in 53 regular-season contests. Rotowire.com Wednesday, 7:25 am
    • Rebounds after rough first period
Georgiev stopped 19 of 22 shots in Tuesday's 4-3 Game 1 overtime win over the Stars.

Advice: The Stars jumped out to a 3-0 lead in the first period, scoring three times within 10 minutes in the frame. However, Georgiev held Dallas scoreless on the team's final 13 shots over the final two periods and overtime as the Avs rallied for a 4-3 overtime victory. It's the fifth straight win for Georgiev after he dropped the first game of Colorado's opening-round series versus Winnipeg. The 28-year-old netminder sports an .889 save percentage with a 2.94 GAA in the postseason. Rotowire.com Wednesday, 7:10 am
    • Starting Game 1
Georgiev will start Tuesday on the road in Game 1 against Dallas, per Jesse Montano of Guerilla Sports.

Advice: Georgiev was a little shaky during Colorado's first-round series against the Jets, recording an .893 save percentage, but he still went 4-1 during the five-game series thanks to fantastic goal support from his teammates. The Stars are coming off a hard-fought seven-game series win over Vegas, so the Avalanche will have the upper hand in terms of rest early in on in the second round. Rotowire.com Tuesday, 10:21 am
    • Lends helper in loss
Barkov posted an assist, two shots on goal, three hits and a minus-2 rating in Monday's 5-1 loss to the Bruins in Game 1.

Advice: Barkov forced a turnover and fed Matthew Tkachuk for the opening tally, but that was all the Panthers could produce against Jeremy Swayman. In addition to the helper, Barkov went 19-for-28 at the faceoff dot, which was a strength for the Panthers as a whole against a less experienced Boston center group than in years past. Barkov is up to two goals, four assists, 16 shots on net, 16 hits, seven blocked shots and a plus-1 rating over six playoff outings. Rotowire.com Monday, 9:32 pm
