    • Nets goal in Game 3 win
Tarasenko scored a goal on four shots in Thursday's 4-3 win over the Oilers in Game 3.

Advice: Tarasenko put the Panthers ahead 2-1 with his second-period tally on a feed from Eetu Luostarinen. While Tarasenko hasn't played a starring role for the Panthers, he's scored a goal in all four of the team's series while adding four assists over 20 playoff contests. He's also posted 37 shots on net, 39 hits and a plus-6 rating while filling a third-line role with power-play time. Rotowire.com Thursday, 11:24 pm
    • One of each in win
Reinhart scored a goal on two shots, added an assist and went plus-2 in Thursday's 4-3 win over the Oilers in Game 3.

Advice: Reinhart tipped home a Gustav Forsling shot to open the scoring late in the first period. In the second, Reinhart added a helper on Aleksander Barkov's goal, which ended up being the game-winner. This was Reinhart's first goal in five games, and he's now at nine tallies, 15 points, 70 shots on net, 47 hits and a plus-3 rating through 20 playoff contests. • Unavailable Thursday
Kane (hip) is expected to miss Game 3 against the Panthers on Thursday, per Greg Wyshynski of ESPN.

Advice: Kane has four goals, eight points, 37 PIM and 64 hits in 20 playoff outings this year. Corey Perry and Derek Ryan, who were both healthy scratches for Game 2 on Monday, are projected to draw back into the lineup Thursday. Sam Carrick is slated to miss Thursday's game after logging 7:31 of ice time in Edmonton's last contest, but unlike Kane, it's believed Carrick's absence is due to a coach's decision. • Heading back to Czechia
Smejkal signed a five-year contract with HC Dynamo Pardubice of Czechia on Thursday.

Advice: Smejkal picked up one goal and one assist over 20 NHL games with the Senators as well as 22 points in 47 contests with AHL Belleville in 2023-24. The 27-year-old winger signed an entry-level deal with Ottawa last May, but he was set to become an unrestricted free agent this summer before signing this deal to head back to his home country. • Agrees to one-year deal
Kakko signed a one-year, $2.4 million contract with the Rangers on Thursday, Peter Baugh of The Athletic reports.

Advice: Kakko was set to become a restricted free agent in July after completing his two-year, $4.2 million contract. He struggled in 2023-24, recording just 13 goals and 19 points across 61 regular-season contests after setting career highs with 18 goals and 40 points in 82 regular-season outings in 2022-23. The 23-year-old can't be counted out, but he certainly hasn't lived up to his potential after being selected with the No. 2 overall pick in the 2019 NHL Draft. Look for him to open next season as a part of the Rangers' middle six. Rotowire.com Thursday, 12:08 pm
    • Signs new deal
Crookshank signed a one-year, two-way contract with the Senators on Wednesday, per PuckPedia.

Advice: Crookshank made his NHL debut in 2023-24, picking up three points, 20 shots on net, 20 hits and a minus-3 rating over 13 appearances. He also had 46 points in 50 contests with AHL Belleville. Crookshank will likely spend some time in the minors in 2024-25, but he may be ready to push for a larger role at the NHL level. • Questionable for Thursday
Kane (hip) is questionable for Game 3 against Florida on Thursday, per Dan Rosen of NHL.com.

Advice: Kane has four goals, eight points, 37 PIM and 64 hits in 20 playoff contests this year. Corey Perry, who was a healthy scratch in Game 2 on Monday, is projected to draw back into the lineup at the expense of Ryan McLeod on Thursday. However, if Kane ends up being unavailable, then both Perry and McLeod might dress for Game 3. Rotowire.com Wednesday, 11:38 am
    • Ejected from Game 2
Foegele was given a five-minute major and a game misconduct in Game 2 versus the Panthers on Monday.

Advice: Foegele was dismissed from the game due to his knee-on-knee hit against Eetu Luostarinen, who did eventually return to the game. For his part, the 28-year-old Foegele was limited to just 1:54 of ice time due to his ejection, which extended his 16-game goal drought. Since he was given a game misconduct, it seems unlikely the winger will receive any additional discipline, and he should be an option for Game 3 on Thursday. Rotowire.com Tuesday, 6:49 am
    • Pots two goals in win
Rodrigues scored twice in Monday's 4-1 victory over the Oilers in Game 2.

Advice: Rodrigues extended his point streak to three games and goal streak to two contests thanks to Monday's performance. The 30-year-old added two shots, two hits and a plus-1 rating in 14:38 of ice time. Rodrigues has proven to be an important part of Florida's attack -- he's currently playing alongside Matthew Tkachuk and Sam Bennett on the second line. Rodrigues also has three markers through the first two outings of the Stanley Cup Finals, while no other player has more than one. The Toronto native is up to six goals, five assists and a plus-2 rating in 19 playoff contests. Rotowire.com Tuesday, 2:12 am
