    • Agrees to two-way deal
Karlsson signed a one-year, two-way contract with the Canucks on Thursday.

Advice: Karlsson was set to become a restricted free agent in July after completing his two-year, entry-level contract. He participated in four regular-season contests with Vancouver in 2023-24, recording no points, four shots, three hits and two blocks over that stretch. Karlsson also had 23 goals and 60 points across 60 regular-season outings with AHL Abbotsford. Rotowire.com Thursday, 2:54 pm
    • Gets contract extension
Guttman signed a one-year, two-way contract extension with the Blackhawks on Thursday, according to Charlie Roumeliotis of NBC Sports Chicago.

Advice: Guttman played 27 games at the NHL level in 2023-24, scoring four times while adding four assists over that stretch. He was sent down to AHL Rockford at the end of January and finished the season in the minors, scoring 16 goals and 40 points in 39 AHL games. He should see some NHL action in 2024-25, but he'll likely once again spend most of his time in the minors. Rotowire.com Thursday, 8:29 am
    • Signs in Switzerland
Andersson signed a two-year contract with EHC Biel of the Swiss League on Thursday.

Advice: Andersson spent the 2023-24 season with AHL Laval, picking up 21 goals and 45 points in 53 games. The No. 7 overall pick in the 2017 NHL Entry Draft, Andersson has played only 110 games at the NHL level since being drafted by the Rangers, scoring seven goals and adding 10 assists over that span. • Moving to Washington
Dubois was acquired by the Capitals from the Kings on Wednesday in exchange for Darcy Kuemper.

Advice: The Kings made a big bet on Dubois in the summer of 2023, trading Alex Iafallo, Gabriel Vilardi, Rasmus Kupari and a 2024 second-round pick to get him from the Jets. The move also involved signing Dubois to an eight-year, $68 million contract. The idea was that the center, who provides a strong blend of grit and skill, would make the Kings deep up the middle in the short term and perhaps even be the eventual successor to Anze Kopitar. However, Dubois went from recording at least 60 points in each of his previous two campaigns to finishing with 16 goals and 40 points across 82 regular-season contests in 2023-24. Averaging 15:42 of ice time this season, down from 18:27 in 2022-23, probably didn't help his offensive production, so perhaps the move to Washington will do him some good. Nicklas Backstrom (hip) isn't expected to play at all next season, which leaves the door open for Dubois to possibly serve as the Capitals' top-line center. Rotowire.com Wednesday, 12:22 pm
    • Claimed off waivers
Goodrow was claimed off waivers by the Sharks from the Rangers on Wednesday, per Chris Johnston of The Athletic.

Advice: Goodrow recorded 33 points in 2021-22 and 31 points in 2022-23, but he declined this campaign to four goals and 12 points across 80 regular-season appearances. The 31-year-old was still a physical presence, though, recording 78 PIM and 171 hits. He also stepped up in the 2024 playoffs, supplying six goals, eight points, 12 PIM, 41 hits and 29 blocks in 16 outings. He figures to serve in a third-line capacity for San Jose, which is the franchise where he made his NHL debut back in 2014. The Sharks will also be taking the final three seasons of his six-year, $21.85 million contract. Rotowire.com Wednesday, 11:15 am
    • Shipped to Sharks
Dellandrea was acquired by the Sharks from the Stars on Wednesday in exchange for a 2025 fourth-round pick.

Advice: Dellandrea had two goals, nine points, 23 PIM and 63 hits in 42 regular-season appearances with Dallas in 2023-24. The 23-year-old should be in the conversation for a bottom-six spot with San Jose going into training camp. However, the Sharks first need to re-sign Dellandrea, who completed his one-year, $900,000 contract and is set to become a restricted free agent in July. Rotowire.com Wednesday, 10:37 am
    • Hits waivers
Goodrow was placed on waivers Tuesday, Elliotte Friedman of Sportsnet reports.

Advice: If Goodrow is not claimed by another team, the Rangers could bury his contract in the minors or buy out the final three seasons of his six-year, $21.85 million contract. The 31-year-old forward produced four goals, eight assists, 78 PIM, 86 blocked shots and 170 hits in 80 games during the 2023-24 regular season. He also contributed six goals, eight points, 29 blocks and 41 hits across 16 outings during the 2024 playoffs. Rotowire.com Tuesday, 11:44 am
    • Adds insurance marker
McLeod scored a goal and added two hits in Saturday's 8-1 win over the Panthers in Game 4.

Advice: McLeod tacked on a goal late in the third period. He's scored in consecutive contests for the first time since December. Through 21 playoff outings, the 24-year-old has just three goals with 22 shots on net, 26 hits and a minus-5 rating. Given his lack of production, it's no surprise he remains in a bottom-six role with minimal power-play time. Rotowire.com Jun 15, 10:58 pm
    • Lights lamp in Game 4
Henrique scored a goal, doled out five hits and blocked two shots in Saturday's 8-1 win over the Panthers in Game 4.

Advice: Henrique's tally at 7:48 of the first period ended up being the game-winner in the blowout. The 34-year-old has a point in each of the last two contests, and he's up to six points, nine shots on net, 48 hits and a plus-1 rating through 14 playoff outings. Henrique is likely to remain in a third-line role for the remainder of the Stanley Cup Finals, as head coach Kris Knoblauch likely won't adjust the lineup much if the Oilers keep winning.
