      Advice: Ekholm has three goals and two assists over four contests in the second round after being limited to one helper in the Oilers' 4-1 series win over the Kings in the first round.       Trouba netted a shorthanded goal in Monday's 4-1 loss to Carolina in Game 5.

      Advice: Trouba opened the scoring in the second period by firing a wrist shot past Carolina's Frederik Andersen, but that was it for New York's offensive output in the tilt. It was Trouba's first marker of the playoffs. The 30-year-old defenseman also had two shots on goal, three hits and four blocked shots in 18:38 of ice time.       Ekholm scored a power-play goal on four shots, dished an assist and added two PIM in Sunday's 4-3 loss to the Canucks in Game 3.

      Advice: The Oilers' second power-play unit made a rare contribution, with Ekholm getting the opening goal. He also set up Evan Bouchard in the third period, but the Canucks controlled the scoring in between those tallies. All three of Ekholm's goals this postseason have come in the second round, and he's added two assists, 16 shots on net, 10 hits, 12 blocked shots and a plus-4 rating through eight playoff outings overall.       Advice: Ekholm was limited to one assist over five first-round games versus the Kings, but he's now scored a goal in each of the first two contests in the second round. The 33-year-old defenseman doesn't have to put up offense to be useful, but it doesn't hurt. He's contributed 12 shots on net, 12 blocked shots, nine hits and a plus-4 rating in addition to three points through seven playoff outings.       Advice: Montour is on a heater right now -- he's racked up five points (two goals) over the last two games. He scored on the power play early in the third period to put the Panthers up by four.
