    • Traded to Boston
Korpisalo was traded from Ottawa to Boston along with Mark Kastelic and a 2024 first-round pick in exchange for Linus Ullmark on Monday.

Advice: Just one year after signing a five-year, $20 million deal with the Senators, Korpisalo will now suit up for his fourth team in three years. He posted a 3.27 GAA and an .890 save percentage in 55 games in 2023-24. He's expected to take on a much lighter role behind Jeremy Swayman in Boston, as the latter is currently a restricted free agent. Rotowire.com Monday, 4:57 pm
    • Agrees to one-year deal
Bussi signed a one-year, two-way contract with Boston on Monday.

Advice: Bussi posted a 23-10-5 record with a 2.67 GAA and a .913 save percentage in 41 regular-season games with AHL Providence in 2023-24. The 25-year-old netminder doesn't have any NHL experience yet. He will probably spend most, if not all, of the 2024-25 campaign in the minors, though that could change if the Bruins make a trade involving a goaltender. Rotowire.com Monday, 2:26 pm

    • Dealing with cut finger
Lyon suffered a cut finger at the 2024 IIHF World Championship in May, per Sean Shapiro of EP Rinkside.

Advice: Lyon was representing the United States in Czechia. He will not require surgery and is expected to be ready for the beginning of training camp in September. Lyon will battle Ville Husso for the top job with the Red Wings in 2024-25 -- Lyon went 21-18-5 with a 3.05 GAA and a .904 save percentage in 44 regular-season appearances in 2023-24. • Sticking with Penguins
Nedeljkovic signed a two-year, $5 million contract with the Penguins on Thursday.

Advice: Nedeljkovic had an 18-7-7 record, 2.97 GAA and .902 save percentage in 38 regular-season contests with the Penguins in 2023-24. He was playing on a one-year, $1.5 million contract and could have tested the unrestricted free agent waters this summer. The Penguins also have Tristan Jarry signed through 2027-28, so Pittsburgh will be using the same goaltending duo for the second straight campaign in 2024-25. Nedeljkovic will likely begin the season as the backup netminder, but he has the potential to be utilized more than your typical No. 2, especially after Jarry was something of a mixed bag in 2023-24, finishing with a 2.91 GAA and a .903 save percentage in 51 regular-season outings. Advice: Villalta was set to become an unrestricted free agent in July after completing his one-year, two-way deal for the 2023-24 campaign. He had a 2.54 GAA and a .911 save percentage in 51 regular-season outings with AHL Tucson this year. He also appeared in two games with Arizona, posting a 4.17 GAA and an .828 save percentage. • Officially retired
Elliott is joining the Blues as a scout and development coach, officially marking the end of his NHL playing career.

Advice: Elliott spent 16 years in the NHL with five of those as a Blue. He also played for Ottawa, Philadelphia, Colorado, Calgary and, most recently, Tampa Bay. The 39-year-old went 279-167-54 with a .909 save percentage and a 2.57 GAA in 543 career appearances. Elliott ended his career with a 32-save shutout against Detroit on April 13, 2023.
