      Advice: Kucherov stayed hot in the postseason with seven assists over five games, but he wasn't able to put a puck past Sergei Bobrovsky. The 30-year-old Kucherov had an excellent 2024-25 despite the early playoff exit, earning 44 goals and 100 assists in 81 regular-season appearances.       Barkov scored twice on four shots, added an assist, went plus-4, levied four hits and blocked two shots in Monday's 6-1 win over the Lightning in Game 5.

      Advice: Barkov's first tally was a shorthanded one in the second period, and it stood as the series-clinching goal. He also added the first of four goals in the third as the Panthers ran away with the win. The center ends the first round of the playoffs with five points, 14 shots on net, 14 hits, six blocked shots and a plus-3 rating over five appearances.       Moore couldn't put one past the goalie despite registering five shots on goal in Sunday's 1-0 Game 4 loss to Edmonton.

      Advice: Moore and the Kings couldn't figure out Oilers' netminder Stuart Skinner, who recorded his first shutout since Dec. 28 versus the Sharks. Through the first four postseason contests, the 29-year-old Moore has notched just one goal, a far cry from his career-best regular season in which he set new highs in goals (31) and points (57).       Advice: Strome helped out on a Martin Fehervary goal in the first period. The helper was Strome's second point in four playoff outings, to go with nine shots on net, six hits and a minus-1 rating. The 27-year-old center often saw top-six minutes in 2023-24, earning a career-high 67 points (22 on the power play) with 169 shots on net, 61 blocked shots and a minus-13 rating over 82 regular-season contests.       Advice: Zibanejad set up goals by Vincent Trocheck and Artemi Panarin in this contest.       Advice: Georgiev allowed a first-period goal on the fifth shot of the game but then kicked aside the next 22 shots to keep the Jets off the scoreboard. After a poor performance in Game 1, Georgiev has allowed only five goals on 77 shots for a .935 save percentage in the last three games.       Advice: Two of the helpers came in the third period as the Lightning put the game away. Kucherov is still looking for his first goal of the postseason, but he's found the scoresheet in all four contests so far while collecting six assists.       Advice: Samsonov lasted two periods before head coach Sheldon Keefe turned to Joseph Woll for the third. Woll stopped all five shots he faced, though the Bruins didn't apply much pressure while protecting a lead. Samsonov has gone 1-3 with 12 goals allowed over four playoff contests so far, so it's fair to question how much longer he'll be the starter with the Maple Leafs entering must-win mode.
