      Advice: It was a forgettable night for Kreider as he failed to register a point and went minus-3 in the contest. No other player on New York was on the ice for more than two goals against in Monday's loss. After starting the postseason with points in six of seven games, Kreider has now failed to find the scoresheet in consecutive games. The 33-year-old did have two shots on goal and four hits in 18:51 of ice time. Kreider and the Rangers will have another chance to eliminate the Hurricanes in Game 6 on Thursday.       Trouba netted a shorthanded goal in Monday's 4-1 loss to Carolina in Game 5.

      Advice: Trouba opened the scoring in the second period by firing a wrist shot past Carolina's Frederik Andersen, but that was it for New York's offensive output in the tilt. It was Trouba's first marker of the playoffs. The 30-year-old defenseman also had two shots on goal, three hits and four blocked shots in 18:38 of ice time.       MacKinnon supplied an assist, three shots on goal, two hits and a minus-2 rating in Saturday's 4-1 loss to the Stars in Game 3.

      Advice: MacKinnon was silenced in Game 2, ending an eight-game point streak. The 28-year-old was able to contribute the primary assist on Mikko Rantanen's goal in Game 3, though the Avalanche did little else on offense.       Advice: Trouba helped out on an Alexis Lafreniere tally in the third period. Offense hasn't been a strong suit for Trouba in the playoffs -- he's earned three assists to go with 33 hits, 41 blocked shots, 12 PIM and a plus-1 rating over eight contests.       Advice: Kreider got New York on the board with a shorthanded marker midway through the second period, backhanding a feed from Mika Zibanejad under the pad of Pyotr Kochetkov. The 33-year-old Kreider now has goals in back-to-back games and four points in his last three contests. He's up to four goals and seven points through seven games in the postseason.       MacKinnon scored a goal and added an assist in Tuesday's 4-3 Game 1 overtime win over the Stars.

      Advice: MacKinnon set up Valeri Nichushkin's power-play goal in the second period before scoring the tying goal 39 seconds into the third, snapping a loose puck past Jake Oettinger. MacKinnon has at least one point in all six postseason contests so far, and he's recorded two points in four straight games. He's up to three goals and 11 points so far in the playoffs. The 33-year-old Kreider has been solid in the postseason with five points, 10 shots on net, nine hits and a plus-1 rating over five contests.
