    • Grabs two helpers
Draisaitl recorded a pair of assists in a 5-4 Game 1 loss to Vancouver on Wednesday. According to Elliotte Friedman of Sportsnet, Draisaitl was dealing with cramps in the second period before returning in the third.

Advice: Draisaitl managed just 16:43 of ice time due to his cramping issue, his fewest minutes during a game in the postseason. Still, the world-class center has registered at least a point in all six playoff contests, racking up a combined five goals and seven helpers, including eight power-play points. At this point, there is no reason to think Draisaitl won't be ready for Game 2 on Friday since he was able to return for the third period. Rotowire.com Today, 12:12 pm
    • Between pipes against Stars
Georgiev will tend the twine on the road in Game 2 against Dallas on Thursday, Jesse Montano of Guerilla Sports reports

Advice: Georgiev is riding a five-game winning streak during which he posted a 2.12 GAA and .921 save percentage. Even when the 28-year-old backstop stumbled in Game 1 of the first-round matchup with Winnipeg, coach Jared Bednar has stuck with Georgiev and likely would continue to do so if there is another stumble. As such, fantasy players shouldn't expect to see Justus Annunen anytime soon. Rotowire.com Today, 10:06 am
    • Rebounds after rough first period
Georgiev stopped 19 of 22 shots in Tuesday's 4-3 Game 1 overtime win over the Stars.

Advice: The Stars jumped out to a 3-0 lead in the first period, scoring three times within 10 minutes in the frame. However, Georgiev held Dallas scoreless on the team's final 13 shots over the final two periods and overtime as the Avs rallied for a 4-3 overtime victory. It's the fifth straight win for Georgiev after he dropped the first game of Colorado's opening-round series versus Winnipeg. The 28-year-old netminder sports an .889 save percentage with a 2.94 GAA in the postseason. Rotowire.com Yesterday, 7:10 am
    • Starting Game 1
Georgiev will start Tuesday on the road in Game 1 against Dallas, per Jesse Montano of Guerilla Sports.

Advice: Georgiev was a little shaky during Colorado's first-round series against the Jets, recording an .893 save percentage, but he still went 4-1 during the five-game series thanks to fantastic goal support from his teammates. The Stars are coming off a hard-fought seven-game series win over Vegas, so the Avalanche will have the upper hand in terms of rest early in on in the second round. Rotowire.com Tuesday, 10:21 am
    • Plays through injury
Karlsson played through a lower-body injury during the Golden Knights' first-round playoff series versus the Stars, which concluded with a 2-1 loss in Game 7 on Sunday, Danny Webster of the Las Vegas Review-Journal reports.

Advice: The injury wasn't bad enough to keep Karlsson off the ice, but it was obvious he was struggling, as he was limited to two helpers over seven games. He added nine shots on net, eight hits, five blocked shots and a plus-4 rating from a third-line role. Karlsson was a 60-point contributor in the regular season, and he should fill a middle-six role again in 2024-25. Rotowire.com Sunday, 8:40 pm
    • Gets first point of postseason
Harley registered an assist, two hits, two blocked shots and a plus-2 rating in Sunday's 2-1 win over the Golden Knights in Game 7.

Advice: Harley snapped a seven-game point drought with the helper on Radek Faksa's third-period tally, which was the game-winning goal. The 22-year-old Harley had an excellent regular season with 15 goals and 47 points over 79 appearances, but he has just one assist with 12 shots on net, 20 blocked shots and a plus-2 rating through seven playoff outings. He'll still absorb top-four minutes, especially with Dallas leaning heavily on five blueliners, but his offense may take a back seat to his defensive duties again versus the Avalanche in the second round. • Puts away opening goal
Johnston scored a goal on four shots and added six hits in Sunday's 2-1 win over the Golden Knights in Game 7.

Advice: Johnston capitalized on the Golden Knights botching a clearing attempt, taking the loose puck and scoring at 14:34 of the first period. The 20-year-old center finished the first round with four goals and three assists in seven contests, to go with 27 shots on net, 11 hits and an even plus-minus rating. He's played both as the third-line center and first-line right wing, giving the Stars a couple of roster constructions that work heading into the second round versus the Avalanche. • Gets on scoresheet Friday
Karlsson registered an assist in Friday's 2-0 win over the Stars in Game 6.

Advice: After a 60-point regular season, Karlsson was silenced for the first five games of the first round. He broke the slump by setting up Mark Stone's empty-netter Friday, though that's hardly a sign of good things to come for Karlsson. The veteran center is stuck in a third-line role, and his defensive skills are strong enough to prevent him from getting more favorable matchups. Karlsson has added nine shots on net, six hits and a plus-3 rating through six playoff outings. Rotowire.com Friday, 10:56 pm
    • Bags two apples Wednesday
Johnston earned a pair of assists in a 3-2 win over the Golden Knights in Game 5 on Wednesday.

Advice: Johnston has been fantastic in the postseason, racking up three goals and three assists, including two power-play points, in five contests. The 20-year-old center avoided the sophomore slump during the regular season, setting new personal bests in goals (32), assists (33) and shots (216). Rotowire.com Thursday, 11:34 am
