    • Helps New York tie series
Trocheck scored a goal and assisted on the game-winner in overtime in Friday's 2-1 win over the Panthers in Game 2.

Advice: After being held off the scoresheet in Game 1, Trocheck rebounded with a huge performance in Friday's win to help New York even the series. He opened the scoring in the first period before assisting on Barclay Goodrow's game-winner. Trocheck also had four shots on goal, six hits, four blocks and a plus-2 rating in 24:55 of ice time Friday night. The 30-year-old has been a force for New York in the playoffs -- he's tied for the team lead in goals and second in assists. The second-line center is up to seven goals and nine assists in 12 postseason appearances. Rotowire.com Friday, 10:25 pm
    • Could play Saturday
Hintz (upper body) may be available to face Edmonton in Game 2 on Saturday after coach Pete DeBoer told reporters Hintz was "skating and possible for tomorrow" Friday, Brian Rea of Bally Sports Southwest reports.

Advice: Hintz has already missed the team's last three games due to his upper-body issue but appears to be nearing a return to action. Prior to getting hurt, the 27-year-old center had tallied two goals on 13 shots and four assists in his previous 11 postseason contests. Once cleared to play, Hintz figures to slot back into a first-line role in addition to linking up with the No. 1 power-play unit. Rotowire.com Friday, 10:03 am
    • Not playing Thursday
Hintz (upper body) will not be in the lineup for Game 1 of the Western Conference Finals versus Edmonton on Thursday, Stars radio analyst Bruce LeVine reports.

Advice: Coach Peter DeBoer is hopeful Hintz will be healthy enough to return for Game 2 on Saturday. Hintz will miss his third straight game after he was injured during Game 4 of the Stars' second-round series versus Colorado. Hintz has two goals and six points in 11 playoff games this year.
