      McDavid logged a pair of assists in Wednesday's 4-3 Game 5 win over Los Angeles.

      Advice: McDavid set up Leon Draisaitl's game-tying power-play goal midway through the second period before adding another helper on Draisaitl's go-ahead tally just a few minutes later.       Toffoli scored a goal on three shots in Tuesday's 6-3 loss to the Avalanche in Game 5.

      Advice: Toffoli's goal tied the game at 3-3 early in the third period, but the Jets weren't able to score again after that. The winger had two goals, eight shots on net, eight hits and a minus-2 rating over five playoff appearances. Toffoli posted 55 points, 229 shots, 75 hits and a minus-6 rating over 79 regular-season appearances between the Jets and the Devils this year. He is one of two unrestricted free agents among the Jets' forwards, and given his lack of playoff performance, he may be looking for a new home in the offseason.       Hellebuyck gave up four goals on 30 shots in Sunday's 5-1 Game 4 loss to the Avalanche. He was pulled after the second period.

      Advice: Two of the four goals against Hellebuyck came on the power play. He was relieved of his duties after the second frame Sunday for backup Laurent Brossoit. Hellebuyck has now allowed 19 goals on 131 shots in the first-round series, which the Jets trail 3-1.
