    • Available for Monday
Kane (abdomen) is available for Game 7 on Monday against Florida, but head coach Kris Knoblauch did not clarify whether or not he'd be in the lineup, per TSN.

Advice: Kane hasn't played since Game 2, and the Oilers have forced a Game 7 after being down 3-0 in the series. At the moment, it's unclear if the Oilers will want to adjust the lineup to fit Kane back in after they've caught fire. He produced a minus-4 rating in two games against the Panthers and has eight points with a minus-7 rating this postseason. Rotowire.com Sunday, 1:15 pm
    • Fills empty cage
McLeod scored an empty-net goal on four shots and added 10 PIM in Friday's 5-1 win over the Panthers in Game 6.

Advice: McLeod has turned up his offense at the right time with three goals over the last four games. The 24-year-old forward is up to four tallies with no assists, 26 shots on net, 27 hits, 16 PIM and a minus-5 rating through 23 playoff contests. His recent offense will likely be enough to keep him in a bottom-six role for Monday's Game 7. Rotowire.com Friday, 9:28 pm
    • Out for Game 6
Kane (abdomen) will not play Friday against the Panthers, Bob Stauffer of the Oilers Radio Network reports.

Advice: Kane was considered a game-time call but will miss his fourth straight contest. The veteran winger has eight points in 20 games this postseason and was held scoreless with a minus-4 rating through two appearances against Florida prior to his injury. His status for a potential Game 7 on Monday is unclear at this time. Rotowire.com Friday, 4:49 pm
    • Questionable for Friday
Kane (abdomen) skated at morning practice Thursday, but his status for Game 6 versus Florida on Friday is up in the air, Jason Gregor of Sports 1440 Edmonton reports.

Advice: Kane, who has missed the last three games with the injury, skated on the fifth line at practice and never had an opportunity to play with the regulars. Kane has four goals, four assists and 47 PIM in 20 playoff games this season. Rotowire.com Thursday, 10:35 am
    • Moving to Washington
Dubois was acquired by the Capitals from the Kings on Wednesday in exchange for Darcy Kuemper.

Advice: The Kings made a big bet on Dubois in the summer of 2023, trading Alex Iafallo, Gabriel Vilardi, Rasmus Kupari and a 2024 second-round pick to get him from the Jets. The move also involved signing Dubois to an eight-year, $68 million contract. The idea was that the center, who provides a strong blend of grit and skill, would make the Kings deep up the middle in the short term and perhaps even be the eventual successor to Anze Kopitar. However, Dubois went from recording at least 60 points in each of his previous two campaigns to finishing with 16 goals and 40 points across 82 regular-season contests in 2023-24. Averaging 15:42 of ice time this season, down from 18:27 in 2022-23, probably didn't help his offensive production, so perhaps the move to Washington will do him some good. Nicklas Backstrom (hip) isn't expected to play at all next season, which leaves the door open for Dubois to possibly serve as the Capitals' top-line center. Rotowire.com Wednesday, 12:22 pm
    • One of each in loss
Tkachuk scored a goal on four shots, added an assist, logged six hits and posted two PIM in Tuesday's 5-3 loss to the Oilers in Game 5.

Advice: Tkachuk's goal was his first since Game 1 of the Eastern Conference Finals. The winger had been limited to one assist over his previous six appearances. Despite the scoring slump, he's maintained a point-per-game pace with six goals and 16 helpers over 22 playoff outings. Tkachuk has added 81 shots on net, 64 hits, 27 PIM and a plus-3 rating. • Still out Tuesday
Kane (abdomen) won't play in Tuesday's Game 5 versus the Panthers, Derek Van Diest of NHL.com reports.

Advice: Kane was considered possible for this contest, but he'll ultimately need to miss a third straight game. If the Oilers win Tuesday, he may be available for Friday's Game 6. Kane has four goals, eight points and 37 PIM in 20 playoff appearances this year. Rotowire.com Tuesday, 4:48 pm
    • Possible for Game 5
Kane (abdomen) is a possibility for Game 5 against Florida on Tuesday, per Tracey Myers of NHL.com.

Advice: Kane will travel with the Oilers to Florida, and the team will evaluate his health ahead of Tuesday's contest. The 32-year-old forward has missed the last two games due to a sports hernia. Kane has generated four goals, four assists, 44 shots on net, 37 PIM and 64 hits in 20 outings this postseason. • Adds insurance marker
McLeod scored a goal and added two hits in Saturday's 8-1 win over the Panthers in Game 4.

Advice: McLeod tacked on a goal late in the third period. He's scored in consecutive contests for the first time since December. Through 21 playoff outings, the 24-year-old has just three goals with 22 shots on net, 26 hits and a minus-5 rating. Given his lack of production, it's no surprise he remains in a bottom-six role with minimal power-play time. Rotowire.com Jun 15, 10:58 pm
