Surprising finales. Florida led for almost the whole season and had very few injuries. Toronto and Tampa Bay came back strong in last part of season with Toronto edging out Tampa Bay. Tampa Bay was looking for its 6th championship in a row so perhaps the powerhouse is now on a down slide. Toronto got its first championship perhaps it's an omen for the Cup since 1967.
The real interesting battle was at the bottom where Pittsburgh. Columbus and Chicago did battle. Pittsburgh couldn't produce for the coach and Columbus vaulted surprisingly into 18th place. But on the final regular season Chicago was able to get some goaltending and steal the 18th spot. Even Chicago's GM must be shocked.
Pittsburgh and Columbus will announce the firings of their GMs and coaches and next season hopefully be hired by new franchises. -
Approx 19 regular season games left for each franchise so make good use of roster to gain points in categories.
Don't waste any games by not using them and especially make use of all your goaltending games.
All need to start flipping their goaltenders for the daily starts if you hope to get near 70 games played. You're losing out on Wins , SA , SO .
