    Advice: Oettinger will look to rebound after allowing five goals on 27 shots en route to a 5-3 loss to the Avalanche in Game 5 on Wednesday. He's 7-5 with a 2.27 GAA and a .914 save percentage in 12 playoff appearances this year. The Avalanche are fantastic offensively, having ranked first in the regular season with 3.68 goals per contest, so they're likely to test Oettinger frequently in the upcoming clash.     Hintz (upper body) will remain unavailable for Game 6 versus Colorado on Friday, Corey Masisak of The Denver Post reports.

    Advice: Hintz will be out of action for his second consecutive game due to his upper-body issue. Coach Peter DeBoer told reporters he was hopeful the 27-year-old center would be healthy in time for Game 7, if necessary. While Hintz has scored just one goal in his last seven outings, he has chipped in four helpers, including two with the man advantage.     Advice: Orlov got on the board by helping out on a Martin Necas first-period tally that opened the scoring. It was the fifth time in six games this series that Orlov registered at least one point. The Russian defenseman also had one shot on goal and six blocks with a minus-1 rating in 19:01 of ice time. Unfortunately for the 32-year-old, he had an egregious turnover in which he failed to clear the defensive zone -- it led directly to a New York goal shortly after Carolina garnered a 2-0 lead early in the second period.     Advice: Svechnikov had a secondary assist on the power play and a primary helper at even strength in Thursday's defeat. The 24-year-old added one shot, one block, four hits and a minus-1 rating in 19:04 of ice time. The Russian forward did have six points in as many games this series, but he found the back of the net only once. He finished the postseason with 11 points in 11 contests. After a career high in the regular season with 89 points, the 26-year-old forward finished the postseason with four goals, eight assists and a plus-1 rating in 11 outings. New York went on to dominate the third period -- Chris Kreider scored a natural hat trick to complete the comeback for the Rangers. Andersen finished the postseason with a 6-4 record alongside a 2.62 GAA and an .895 save percentage.     MacDermid agreed to terms on a three-year, $3.45 million contract with New Jersey on Friday.

    Advice: MacDermid will remain with the Devils after joining the club at the trade deadline this last season. In his 16 appearances for the club, the 30-year-old winger managed just one point to go with 29 hits, two blocks and 50 PIM. The decision to give MacDermid a three-year deal does seem a little surprising when you consider he averaged a meager 4:22 of ice time. Looking ahead to next season, MacDermid probably shouldn't be expected to offer much in the way of fantasy value given his limited minutes and lack of offensive upside.     Advice: The helper was Desharnais' first point since a two-assist game versus the Ducks on March 30.
