    • Adds helper in win
Hyman logged an assist, four shots on goal, two hits, two PIM and a plus-2 rating in Friday's 4-3 overtime win over the Canucks in Game 2.

Advice: Hyman helped out on Connor McDavid's equalizer in the third period. The 31-year-old Hyman has been held off the scoresheet just once in seven playoff outings, earning nine goals, two assists, 28 shots on net, 23 hits and a plus-5 rating. He was overshadowed a bit with McDavid and Leon Draisaitl joining forces on the top line, but Hyman has had no trouble carving out offense regardless of who is on McDavid's opposite wing this season. • Scores again Thursday
Guentzel scored a goal on two shots in Thursday's 3-2 overtime loss to the Rangers in Game 3.

Advice: Guentzel opened the scoring midway through the third period, deflecting a feed from Dmitry Orlov past Igor Shesterkin to give Carolina an early 1-0 lead. While the Canes find themselves down 3-0 in the series, Guentzel has done his part, recording three goals and four points in the three contests. The 29-year-old winger has four goals and eight points in eight games so far in the postseason. Rotowire.com Friday, 7:35 am
    • Provides assist Thursday
Lehkonen notched an assist and five shots on goal in Thursday's 5-3 loss to the Stars in Game 2.

Advice: Lehkonen's seven-game point streak ended in Tuesday's Game 1, but he was right back on the scoresheet Thursday. He helped out on a Valeri Nichushkin tally in the third period. Lehkonen is up to five goals, four assists, 27 shots on net, 12 hits and a plus-3 rating through seven playoff contests. He continues to occupy a second-line role, providing solid depth scoring to relieve some of the pressure on the Avalanche's top forwards. Rotowire.com Thursday, 10:41 pm
    • Helps out on power play
Robertson recorded a power-play assist and three blocked shots in Thursday's 5-3 win over the Avalanche in Game 2.

Advice: Robertson helped out on the first of Miro Heiskanen's two goals in the game. This was Robertson's second straight game with an assist, and he's up to seven points (four on the power play) through nine playoff contests. The first-line winger has added 18 shots on net, 17 hits, 11 blocked shots and a minus-6 rating during the postseason. Rotowire.com Thursday, 10:10 pm

    • No timetable for return
Drouin is making progress in his recovery from a lower-body injury, but there's still no timetable for his return, Kyle Fredrickson of The Denver Gazette reports Thursday.

Advice: Drouin recorded 19 goals and 56 points in 79 regular-season outings in 2023-24. However, he hasn't been available in the playoffs due to the injury. If Drouin is able to return during the postseason, he will probably serve in a top-six capacity. Rotowire.com Thursday, 11:03 am
    • Scores twice in Game 1
Hyman scored a pair of goals in Wednesday's 5-4 loss to the Canucks in Game 1.

Advice: Hyman opened the scoring with a power-play marker 2:11 into the first period before extending Edmonton's lead to 4-1 with another tally in the second, sliding a wrister under the pad of Arturs Silovs. Hyman's picked up where he left off in the regular season -- he's scored at least one goal in five of his six playoff games this year, totaling nine goals and 10 points over that stretch. • Two goals in loss
Guentzel potted two goals on five shots in Tuesday's 4-3 double-overtime loss to the Rangers in Game 2.

Advice: Guentzel was set up on both goals by Sebastian Aho, but it wasn't enough to lift Carolina over New York. Guentzel's two markers were complemented by a plus-2 rating and 26:39 of ice time. The 29-year-old has done his part since coming over in a trade from Pittsburgh -- in 17 regular-season outings, Guentzel racked up 25 points. In the postseason, he has seven points in as many games. The Hurricanes will need the star forward to make further contributions in order to get back into this series. Rotowire.com Tuesday, 10:13 pm
