    • Contributes assist in loss
Scheifele produced an assist, three shots on goal, three hits, four blocked shots and a minus-2 rating in Tuesday's 6-3 loss to the Avalanche in Game 5.

Advice: Scheifele was solid with two goals and four assists over five playoff outings, but he also went minus-6 in the first-round series. The center had 10 shots on net and 13 hits as well. Scheifele is secure as a cornerstone of the Jets' roster for years to come, as his seven-year contract extension begins in 2024-25. He should continue to see top-line minutes and ample power-play time next season. Rotowire.com Yesterday, 10:51 pm
    • Two more assists Monday
Tkachuk registered two assists and six shots on goal in Monday's 6-1 win over the Lightning in Game 5.

Advice: Tkachuk helped out on third-period goals by Aleksander Barkov and Carter Verhaeghe. This was Tkachuk's fourth multi-point effort in five playoff games -- he has accumulated three goals and six assists in the postseason. The winger should continue to see heavy usage in a top-six role while providing solid offense and physical play. Rotowire.com Monday, 9:11 pm

    • Heating up in playoffs
Montour registered an assist and four blocked shots versus the Lightning in Game 4 on Saturday, but it wasn't enough, as the Panthers suffered a 6-3 loss.

Advice: After being held without a point in the first two games of the conference quarterfinals, Montour stacked a goal and two helpers between Game 3 and Game 4. The eighth-year defenseman has always had a high ceiling in terms of offensive potential, but there had been a fair number of detractors until Montour's eye-popping 73-point campaign surfaced in 2022-23. He had offseason shoulder surgery and missed the first 16 games of the recently completed regular season, leveling back down to a half-point-per game average. In this playoff series, Montour is averaging 23:26 of ice time with 2:27 on the man advantage. The Panthers will have another crack at eliminating the Lightning in Game 5 on Monday, this time on home ice. Rotowire.com Sunday, 6:51 am
    • Two helpers in Game 4 loss
Tkachuk collected two assists Saturday during a 6-3 loss to the Lightning in Game 4.

Advice: Both helpers came in the second period as the Panthers tried to rally from an early 3-0 deficit, to no avail. Tkachuk has been outstanding to begin the postseason, and he leads Florida with seven points (three goals, four assists) through four games. He'll look to extend his active point streak to eight games Monday in Game 5, and lead his team into the second round. Rotowire.com Sunday, 6:24 am

    • Two helpers in 2OT win
Horvat picked up two assists Saturday during a 3-2 double-overtime win over the Hurricanes in Game 4.

Advice: The 29-year-old helped set up both of Mathew Barzal's tallies on the afternoon, including the winner in the second OT period. Horvat has a goal and three points through four playoff games, but he could be due to light the lamp again -- he took five shots on net Saturday and has 15 in the series so far, tied with Kyle Palmieri for the team lead. • Sets bar higher in ninth season
Larkin finished with more points than games played for the first time in his nine-year career, adding 33 goals and 36 assists -- with 26 of those points on the power play -- across 68 contests in 2023-24.

Advice: A fierce competitor, Larkin fought to the bitter end of the regular season, and had it not been for the captain's late-season surge -- including two goals and five assists in the final four games -- the Wings wouldn't have had even the slightest hope for a playoff berth in those final moments of the 2023-24 campaign. Larkin appeared in five playoff games as a rookie in 2016, but the Wings haven't returned to the postseason since then. Staying healthy and solidifying his chemistry with Alex DeBrincat on the top line will be crucial steps in getting Larkin where he needs to be from both a fantasy standpoint and in terms of his playoff aspirations. • Snags power-play helper
Scheifele recorded a power-play assist, two shots on goal and a minus-2 rating in Friday's 6-2 loss to the Avalanche in Game 3.

Advice: Scheifele has two goals, three assists, six shots on net and eight hits through three playoff outings. The 31-year-old center has been productive alongside the rest of the top line, but it hasn't been enough to match the depth scoring the Avalanche have gotten so far. Scheifele will look to keep his offense rolling in Game 4 on Sunday. Rotowire.com Friday, 10:59 pm
    • Two-point effort in Game 3
Montour produced a goal and an assist Thursday in a 5-3 win over the Lightning in Game 3 of the Panthers' first-round series.

Advice: Both points came in the second period as Florida took a 3-2 lead it wouldn't relinquish, and they were Montour's first of the postseason. The 30-year-old blueliner ended the regular season in a slump, managing only two points (both goals) over the last 11 contests, but Thursday's performance might be a sign he's heating up. • Lights lamp twice in Game 3 win
Tkachuk scored two goals on five shots while adding five hits, two blocked shots and a plus-1 rating Thursday in a 5-3 win over the Lightning in Game 3.

Advice: The 26-year-old winger opened and closed the scoring on the night, beating Andrei Vasilevskiy midway through the first period before firing home an empty-netter late in the third. Tkachuk has three goals and five points to fuel the Panthers' 3-0 start to the series, and Florida will try to secure the sweep Saturday back in Tampa Bay. Rotowire.com Friday, 7:47 am
