    • Puts up assist
Barbashev notched an assist and three hits in Wednesday's 3-1 win over the Stars in Game 2.

Advice: Barbashev helped out on Jonathan Marchessault's game-tying goal in the first period. Barbashev has earned a helper in each of the first two playoff contests while continuing his role on the top line. The 28-year-old isn't the most gifted natural scorer, but he's in a good situation and should provide depth offense with plenty of hits in the postseason. Rotowire.com Yesterday, 10:22 pm
    • Scores in Game 2
Teravainen notched a power-play goal in Monday's 5-3 win over the Islanders.

Advice: Teravainen got Carolina on the board midway through the second period, burying a Jake Guentzel feed on the man advantage to cut the Islanders' lead to 3-1 in the eventual comeback victory. Teravainen came into the playoffs with some scoring momentum, tallying four goals and five points in his final three regular-season games. The 29-year-old winger finished the campaign with 25 goals, a career high, and 53 points across 76 contests. Rotowire.com Tuesday, 7:30 am

    • Contributes helper Monday
Barbashev notched an assist and seven hits in Monday's 4-3 win over the Stars in Game 1.

Advice: Barbashev was limited to one goal over the final seven games of the regular season. The 28-year-old winger continues to play on the top line, but as a more physical forward, his offense is likely to be streaky in that role. He had 45 points, 122 shots on net, 179 hits, 42 PIM and a plus-15 rating in 82 regular-season outings. Rotowire.com Monday, 10:33 pm
    • Pots game-winner
Panarin scored the game-winning goal early in the second period during Sunday's 4-1 Game 1 win over Washington.

Advice: Panarin played a huge role in the Rangers' 2022 playoff run, scoring six goals and 16 points in 20 games. He was less effective last year, contributing just two assists through seven contests. After a career-best 49 goals and 120 points during the regular season, Panarin looks ready to make a postseason impact. He finished Sunday's game with a goal, seven shots, a hit and a plus-1 rating.  Rotowire.com Sunday, 4:47 pm
    • Returns to practice
Rielly (rest) was back at practice Friday, per Jonas Siegel of The Athletic.

Advice: Rielly was rested Wednesday in the Maple Leafs' regular-season finale versus Tampa Bay. He finished the regular season with seven goals and 51 assists in 72 appearances. He will play alongside Ilya Lyubushkin and quarterback the first power play in Saturday's Game 1. Rotowire.com Friday, 10:55 am
    • Caps career year with two apples
Bjorkstrand logged two assists and two PIM in Thursday's 4-3 win over the Wild.

Advice: Bjorkstrand matched his career-high 57 points April 9. He then endured a four-game point drought before picking up two helpers in the season finale. While it wasn't a 60-point campaign, it was still a solid year for the 29-year-old winger, who earned his first All-Star nod. Bjorkstrand posted 20 goals, 39 helpers, 186 shots on net, 67 hits and a minus-20 rating over 82 outings while also earning 25 power-play points. He is likely to remain a key part of the Kraken's offense in 2024-25. Rotowire.com Friday, 10:06 am
    • Enters in relief
Pickard stopped 13 of 14 shots in relief of Stuart Skinner on Thursday in a 5-1 loss to the Avalanche.

Advice: Pickard started the second period in net after Skinner surrendered four goals in the opening frame. Colorado would ease off the throttle, scoring just once on Pickard, though Edmonton couldn't overcome the early deficit, leaving Skinner with the loss. The 32-year-old Pickard was solid in a backup role during the regular season, going 12-7-1 with a .909 save percentage and 2.45 GAA. Rotowire.com Friday, 7:07 am
    • Delivers assist in win
Zegras notched an assist in Thursday's 4-1 win over the Golden Knights.

Advice: Zegras put together a strong finish with two goals and six helpers over his last eight games. The 23-year-old's injury-plagued fourth season saw him post 15 points, 73 shots on net, 30 PIM and a minus-1 rating over 31 appearances. He saw time at center and on the wing, so it's unclear where he might play to begin 2024-25, but he should be able to maintain a top-six role. Rotowire.com Thursday, 10:59 pm
    • Two points against Isles
Malkin scored a power-play goal and added an even-strength assist in Wednesday's 5-4 loss to the Islanders.

Advice: The 37-year-old center wrapped up a solid finish to the campaign that saw him deliver four multi-point performances in his final eight games. Malkin ends 2023-24 with 27 goals and 67 points through 82 games, and he's now played every game for Pittsburgh in each of the last two seasons -- that's an impressive feat all on its own, as it's the first time he's managed to do that since his age-21 and 22 seasons. Malkin still appears to have plenty left in the tank, and he has some milestones left to aim for -- he needs just two more goals for 500 in his career and four more points for 1,300.
