    • One of each Sunday
Ekholm scored a power-play goal on four shots, dished an assist and added two PIM in Sunday's 4-3 loss to the Canucks in Game 3.

Advice: The Oilers' second power-play unit made a rare contribution, with Ekholm getting the opening goal. He also set up Evan Bouchard in the third period, but the Canucks controlled the scoring in between those tallies. All three of Ekholm's goals this postseason have come in the second round, and he's added two assists, 16 shots on net, 10 hits, 12 blocked shots and a plus-4 rating through eight playoff outings overall. The 33-year-old should continue to see his even-strength minutes on the top pairing alongside Bouchard. Rotowire.com Sunday, 10:33 pm
    • Tallies in Game 2
Ekholm scored a goal on two shots and went plus-2 in Friday's 4-3 overtime win over the Canucks in Game 2.

Advice: Ekholm was limited to one assist over five first-round games versus the Kings, but he's now scored a goal in each of the first two contests in the second round. The 33-year-old defenseman doesn't have to put up offense to be useful, but it doesn't hurt. He's contributed 12 shots on net, 12 blocked shots, nine hits and a plus-4 rating in addition to three points through seven playoff outings. Ekholm should continue to see heavy defensive minutes in a top-pairing role. Rotowire.com Friday, 11:19 pm
    • Notches assist in win
Fox logged an assist, two blocked shots, two PIM and a minus-2 rating in Sunday's 4-3 win over the Hurricanes in Game 1.

Advice: Fox has a helper in each of the last three games after he was held off the scoresheet in the first two contests of the playoffs. The defenseman has added four shots on net, 15 blocked shots, five hits and a plus-2 rating. Fox will see a heavy workload on the Rangers' top pairing and first power-play unit, but he may have to focus more on defense since the Hurricanes boast a strong top six. Rotowire.com May 5, 4:53 pm
