  • Two points in Game 5 loss
    Nelson scored an even-strength goal and added a power-play assist Tuesday in a 6-3 loss to the Hurricanes in Game 5.

    Advice: The 32-year-old center did his best to keep his team alive in an elimination game, but the Isles simply didn't have the firepower to keep up with Carolina. Nelson picked up two goals and four points in five postseason contests after supplying 34 goals and 69 points in the regular season, his third straight campaign with 30-plus goals.     Tkachuk registered two assists and six shots on goal in Monday's 6-1 win over the Lightning in Game 5.

    Advice: Tkachuk helped out on third-period goals by Aleksander Barkov and Carter Verhaeghe. This was Tkachuk's fourth multi-point effort in five playoff games -- he has accumulated three goals and six assists in the postseason.     Panarin scored a goal on four shots and added an assist in Sunday's 4-2 win over the Capitals in Game 4.

    Advice: Both of Panarin's points came on the power play. The winger was relatively quiet in the first round, logging three points and 11 shots on net during the four-game sweep.     Tkachuk collected two assists Saturday during a 6-3 loss to the Lightning in Game 4.

    Advice: Both helpers came in the second period as the Panthers tried to rally from an early 3-0 deficit, to no avail. Tkachuk has been outstanding to begin the postseason, and he leads Florida with seven points (three goals, four assists) through four games.     Tkachuk scored two goals on five shots while adding five hits, two blocked shots and a plus-1 rating Thursday in a 5-3 win over the Lightning in Game 3.

    Advice: The 26-year-old winger opened and closed the scoring on the night, beating Andrei Vasilevskiy midway through the first period before firing home an empty-netter late in the third.
