    • Fails to score in loss
Moore couldn't put one past the goalie despite registering five shots on goal in Sunday's 1-0 Game 4 loss to Edmonton.

Advice: Moore and the Kings couldn't figure out Oilers' netminder Stuart Skinner, who recorded his first shutout since Dec. 28 versus the Sharks. Through the first four postseason contests, the 29-year-old Moore has notched just one goal, a far cry from his career-best regular season in which he set new highs in goals (31) and points (57). If the Kings are going to climb out of their 3-1 series deficit, Moore is going to have to start contributing offensively. Rotowire.com Yesterday, 7:04 am
    • Plays hero in Game 4
Barzal scored two goals, including the game-winner, Saturday in a 3-2 double-overtime victory over the Hurricanes in Game 4.

Advice: With the Islanders facing the prospect of getting swept out of the playoffs, Barzal stepped up, beating Frederik Andersen through traffic midway through the second period before getting credit for the game-winner in double overtime when a puck bounced in off Barzal in front. Barzal had managed just one assist through the first three games in the series, and the 26-year-old will likely need to stay hot if New York is going to stay alive beyond Tuesday's Game 5 back in Carolina. • Scores lone goal in loss
Marner scored a goal on three shots and added two PIM in Saturday's 3-1 loss to the Bruins in Game 4.

Advice: Marner snapped a five-game goal drought with his third-period tally, but the Maple Leafs couldn't make a rally out of it. He's picked up just two points with seven shots on net, six hits and a plus-1 rating over four playoff contests, which is not enough production from one of the team's core players. Marner remains in a top-six role, but Toronto will need more out of him to keep its season alive beyond Tuesday's Game 5. Rotowire.com Saturday, 8:48 pm
    • Tickles twine in loss
Moore scored a goal on three shots, added two PIM and notched three hits in Monday's 7-4 loss to the Oilers in Game 1.

Advice: Moore got the Kings within two goals late in the third period, but there wasn't enough time for a comeback. The 29-year-old winger has six goals and three assists over 10 outings in April. He produced a career-high 31 goals and 57 points in 82 regular-season contests while cementing himself as a fixture on the second line. Moore also sees time on both special teams, making him a strong two-way forward. Rotowire.com Monday, 11:49 pm
    • Earns two points Saturday
Necas scored an empty-net goal on three shots and added a power-play assist in Saturday's 3-1 win over the Islanders in Game 1.

Advice: Necas set up Evgeny Kuznetsov's goal early in the first period before scoring the empty-netter with 1:32 left in the contest. The 25-year-old Necas ended the regular season on a five-game goal drought, tied for his second-longest of the campaign. He was solid with 24 goals, 53 points and 231 shots on net over 77 appearances, and he enters the playoffs with a top-six role and power-play time. Rotowire.com Apr 20, 8:49 pm
