Settings
For returning managers the league set up is exactly the same as last year except there are 3 Defenseman slots and 1 UTIL slot instead of 2 Defenseman slots and 2 UTIL slots.
For new managers the league has 10 managers, the scoring categories are: G, A, P, +-, PPP, Shots, Faceoffs Won, Hits, W, GAA, Saves, SV%, and the roster slots are: 2C, 2LW, 2RW, 3D, 1UTIL, 2G, 6BN, 2IR+. There is no maximum amount of free agent acquisitions for the season but you are limited to 5 acquisitions per week. Can't cut list is determined by Yahoo but I will make exceptions to the can't cut list for long term injuries upon request.
During the regular season there will be a 1 day waiver period for players with a Free Agent Acquisition Budget of $100. Players who are dropped in the playoffs will go directly to the free agent pool. The tiebreaker is waiver priority. Waiver priority will be reordered in reverse order of the standings at the start of weeks 10 and 19 when everyone has played each other once and twice respectively. -
Trade Policy
This year trades will be reviewed by myself and the co-commissioner (Ranger Danger). Ranger Danger's job as co-commissioner is to collaborate with me to fairly review and approve trades. He was given this title because he has shown a consistent positive and fair attitude in the league. We will both collaborate to approve trades involving other managers, he will approve trades involving myself and other managers, I will approve trades involving him and other managers, and trades between us will be automatically approved.
Trade approval will be fairly liberally as long as both managers genuinely believe the trade is in their best interest. You have the right to be stupid to a degree. That being said we reserve the right to veto clearly lopsided trades. Please look over the stats before getting upset over seeing a big name going from one team to another.
Collusion is defined as actions made against your teams own interest for the benefit another manager. The punishment for collusion is eternal banishment from the league for all parties involved. This will only be used in extreme situations and with the consensus of myself and the co-commissioner. Players will be given the benefit of the doubt, however your relationships to other managers will be taken into consideration if the topic comes up. I know who knows who. -
Respect and Conduct Towards Other Managers
Shit talking and comments in good humour are perfectly acceptable but please don't be disrespectful to your fellow managers. Any topics making pointed attacks at other managers will be deleted. Basically I don't care about shade but savagery will not be tolerated.
If you have an issue with something or someone in the league send me a private message and I will address and consider the issue. If you post a public topic before messaging me your complaint will NOT be considered.
