  • Out for Game 7
Boeser is dealing with a blood clotting issue and will not play in Monday's Game 7 against Edmonton, Elliotte Friedman of Sportsnet reports.

Advice: Boeser's status moving forward is unclear, which would be a huge factor in the Western Conference Finals against Dallas if Vancouver wins Game 7. Fortunately, his condition is not considered to be life-threatening. He's scored seven goals and 12 points through 12 games this postseason, including a hat trick in Game 4 of the first round against Nashville. If Ilya Mikheyev (undisclosed) misses Game 7 as well, Sam Lafferty seems to be the most likely candidate to step in for Boeser. Today, 3:59 pm
  • Still in neck brace
Fast (neck) was still wearing a neck brace Saturday while he continues to undergo tests to determine the severity of the injury, Walt Ruff of the Hurricanes' official site reports.

Advice: Fast was unavailable during the playoffs after suffering the injury in Carolina's regular-season finale April 16. The 32-year-old winger tallied six goals and 19 points in 73 regular-season games in a bottom-six role. Once the severity of his injury is diagnosed, Fast will focus on getting back to full health ahead of the 2024-25 season. Today, 8:53 am
  • Scores 10th goal of postseason
Hyman scored a goal on four shots and went plus-2 in Saturday's 5-1 win over the Canucks in Game 6.

Advice: Hyman snapped a three-game slump with his second-period tally, which ended up being the game-winner. It was perhaps a short-term regression for the winger, who scored nine times over the first six contests this postseason before the skid. He's at 10 goals, two assists, 45 shots on net, 29 hits and a plus-5 rating through 11 appearances in the playoffs. Yesterday, 8:23 pm

  • Out Saturday
Mikheyev (undisclosed) isn't expected to play Saturday against Edmonton in Game 6, per Thomas Drance of The Athletic.

Advice: Mikheyev also missed Thursday's 3-2 Game 5 victory over the Oilers. He has no points, a minus-4 rating, 11 shots, nine hits and three blocks in 10 playoff contests this year. Mikheyev's continued absence will likely result in Vasily Podkolzin remaining in the lineup for the second straight game. Yesterday, 12:23 pm

  • Recalled from AHL
Blumel was called up from AHL Texas on Saturday.

Advice: Blumel was recalled Feb. 18 but was a healthy scratch before returning to the minors the following day. The 23-year-old winger had a big 2023-24 season in the AHL with 31 goals and 31 assists in 72 contests, finishing fifth overall in goals and tying for 10th in points. Yesterday, 7:40 am
  • Nets power-play goal in loss
Rantanen scored a power-play goal on five shots, added two hits and went minus-2 in Friday's 2-1 double-overtime loss to the Stars in Game 6.

Advice: Rantanen opened the scoring in the second period, but Jake Oettinger slammed the door for the rest of the game. With four goals and 10 assists over 11 playoff outings, Rantanen was his usual productive self in the postseason, but the Avalanche will go no further. The 27-year-old has earned back-to-back 100-point campaigns and could take his offense even higher in 2024-25, which is his contract year. Friday, 11:42 pm
  • Collects assist in Game 6
Dadonov notched an assist, two shots on goal and four blocked shots in Friday's 2-1 double-overtime win over the Avalanche in Game 6.

Advice: Dadonov has turned up the offense with three points and eight shots on net over his last four outings. The winger set up Jamie Benn's game-tying goal early in the third period. Dadonov is up to six points, 16 shots, 14 hits, 13 blocked shots and a plus-1 rating through 13 playoff appearances. Heading into the Western Conference Finals, the 35-year-old should be expected to remain in a third-line role. Friday, 11:36 pm
  • Slings helper Friday
Seguin logged an assist and two shots on goal in Friday's 2-1 double-overtime win over the Avalanche in Game 6.

Advice: Seguin appeared to be injured late in Wednesday's Game 5, but he was deemed fine a day later. The 32-year-old helped out on a Jamie Benn equalizer in the third period of Game 6. Through 13 playoff outings, Seguin has eight points, 39 shots on net, 18 hits and a plus-7 rating while filling a middle-six role. Friday, 11:34 pm
  • Sets up game-winner
Pavelski recorded an assist, two shots on goal and five hits in Friday's 2-1 double-overtime win over the Avalanche in Game 6.

Advice: Pavelski was able to poke the puck free from the skates of several Avalanche players in front of the net, and Matt Duchene buried the shot amid the chaos for the series-clinching goal. All four of Pavelski's points this postseason have been collected in the second round, three of which have come over the last two contests. The 39-year-old has added 19 shots on net, 28 hits and a minus-1 rating over 13 playoff outings. If he's able to carry his recent momentum into the Western Conference Finals, the Stars could add another dynamic to their deep offense. Friday, 11:32 pm
