  • Jason Demers helps out in Tuesday's setback
Jason Demers posted an assist with a plsu-2 rating and a pair of hits in 22:38 of ice time in Tuesday's 3-2 shootout loss against San Jose.

Advice: Demers was fired up to face his former squad, as the rearguard had managed just two assists with a minus-11 rating over his past 16 contests. He'll obviously need to do quite a bit more before getting back into the good graces of fantasy owners. Rotoworld.com Today, 9:16 pm
  • Nick Cousins has solid performance in loss
Nick Cousins picked up an assist with a plus-2 rating and a hit in Tuesday's 3-2 shootout loss against the Sharks.

Advice: Cousins has managed just two goals and an assist over his past 23 games. Despite Tuesday's solid showing he is someone who should remain on the waiver wire in most fantasy pools. Rotoworld.com Today, 9:13 pm
  • Shane Prince forced from Tuesday's game
Shane Prince left Tuesday's game against the New Jersey Devils due to an upper-body injury and he was unable to return.

Advice: Prince delivered a hit and might have actually injured himself on the play. He was scoreless with a minus-1 rating, a blocked shot and the hit, which was his last order of business on the evening. Consider him day to day for now. Rotoworld.com Today, 9:08 pm

  • Jordan Martinook gets on the board
Jordan Martinook struck for a goal and a plus-2 rating in Tuesday's 3-2 shootout loss against the Sharks.

Advice: Martinook has re-discovered his scoring touch lately, posting three goals with five points over his past seven games while turning in a plus-2 rating. He won't be confused with former franchise greats Shane Doan or Keith Tkachuk anytime soon, but he isn't a bad scoop in deeper pools if you need a quick infusion of offense if you have the roster flexibility. • Frederik Andersen makes 40 saves in OTL
Frederik Andersen turned aside 40 of 42 shots in Tuesday's 2-1 overtime loss to the St. Louis Blues.

Advice: It looked like Andersen was going to come away with a shutout, but he allowed Alexander Steen to tie the game at one with under one minute remaining in regulation. Blues defenseman Vince Dunn then added the game-winning goal in overtime. Andersen now has a 22-13-3 record with a 2.67 goals-against-average and a .922 save percentage this season. He has a 0-2-1 record in his last three games. Rotoworld.com Today, 7:40 pm
