  • Vladimir Sobotka scores in GM 1 loss to Preds
Vladimir Sobotka scored a goal in Wednesday's 4-3 loss to the Nashville Predators.

Advice: Game 1 of the series didn't go according to plan for St. Louis. They were trailing 1-0 early in the second period when Predators forward Kevin Fiala had to be stretchered off the ice. The injury caused a lengthy delay, and once the game resumed, it took Nashville just a few seconds to add to their lead. The Blues trailed 3-1 heading into the third frame, but thanks to goals by Jaden Schwartz and Sobotka, they were able to tie it up at three. Unfortunately for St. Louis, Preds forward Vernon Fiddler scored the game-winning goal late in the third. Sobotka now has two goals and two assists in six postseason games for the Blues. The Pittsburgh Penguins blocked 18.8 shots per game during their first round series against Columbus.

Advice: The Penguins spread out that pain over a lot of players, but Ian Cole led the team with 14 blocks in five playoff games. Pittsburgh will be looking to get in front of a lot of shots again versus the dangerous Washington Capitals. Rotoworld.com Today, 7:17 am
