  • Marc Staal suffers hip-flexor injury Tuesday
    Marc Staal's lower-body issue is a hip-flexor injury.

Advice: Staal was hurt in Tuesday's game, but Rangers coach Alain Vigneault wasn't sure exactly when Staal sustained the injury. Staal left the game at the start of the third after recording an assist and plus-four rating over the first two periods. "We’ll know more [Wednesday]," Vigneault said. "I don’t think it’s serious, but I couldn’t tell you the length of the injury." Rotoworld.com Today, 3:46 am

  • Taylor Hall's point streak reaches five games
Taylor Hall extended his point streak to five games.

Advice: Hall scored a goal in the Devils' 4-1 win against the Islanders Tuesday night. He's up to four goals and nine points over the span of that five-game stretch. That gives him 16 goals and 45 points in 41 contests this season. "I think the pucks are going in," Hall said after Tuesday's victory. "I haven’t been on for a lot against and that’s huge. Last year, the puck didn’t go in and this year it’s going in a lot. I can’t complain about puck luck at all tonight. As you see tonight, we had a lot of Grade A chances. You don’t want to have 15 shots from the wall. You want to have seven from the slot and we’ve done a good job of doing that." Rotoworld.com Today, 3:40 am
  • Is Oliver Ekman-Larsson on the trade market?
The Coyotes are reportedly listening to offers for Oliver Ekman-Larsson, but not actively trying to trade him.

Advice: While Arizona obviously won't make the playoffs this season, Ekman-Larsson is signed through 2018-19, so there's no urgency on the Coyotes side to do anything with him. Plus, Ekman-Larsson is still just 26-years-old so he could be part of the Coyotes' long-term solution if he's open to re-signing. With that in mind, we don't expect him to be dealt unless a team is willing to make the Coyotes a major offer they feel they can't refuse. Ekman-Larsson has 20 points in 45 games while averaging 24:33 minutes this season, but he also has an ugly minus-40 rating playing for the dreadful Coyotes. Rotoworld.com Today, 3:00 am
  • Nick Cousins has solid performance in loss
Nick Cousins picked up an assist with a plus-2 rating and a hit in Tuesday's 3-2 shootout loss against the Sharks.

Advice: Cousins has managed just two goals and an assist over his past 23 games. Despite Tuesday's solid showing he is someone who should remain on the waiver wire in most fantasy pools. Rotoworld.com Yesterday, 9:13 pm
  • Shane Prince forced from Tuesday's game
Shane Prince left Tuesday's game against the New Jersey Devils due to an upper-body injury and he was unable to return.

Advice: Prince delivered a hit and might have actually injured himself on the play. He was scoreless with a minus-1 rating, a blocked shot and the hit, which was his last order of business on the evening. Consider him day to day for now. Rotoworld.com Yesterday, 9:08 pm
