The condition on the Peter Holland trade is related to if he re-signs or is dealt again.

Advice: If Arizona decides to ink Holland or trade him then the Coyotes will have to send the Toronto Maple Leafs their 2018 sixth-round pick. If Arizona doesn't re-sign Holland though, then the Leafs will receive no compensation for this trade. Holland no longer factored into Toronto's plans, so this was about freeing a roster spot and giving him an opportunity elsewhere. Today, 3:24 pm
  • Toronto trades Peter Holland to Arizona
The Toronto Maple Leafs have dealt Peter Holland to the Arizona Coyotes for a conditional draft pick.

Advice: The trade was reported on by Elliotte Friedman and then Craig Morgan got confirmation from Coyotes GM John Chayka. Holland has an assist in eight games this season. The fact that Holland was traded was anticipated. He recently met with Leafs GM Lou Lamoriello and it was decided that he wouldn't continue to travel with the team while the team worked to move him. This will provide the 25-year-old with a fresh start. Today, 11:52 am
  • Columbus has called up Oliver Bjorkstrand

If he's taking penalties being aggressive and being physical, then that's one we'll kill." • Jeff Zatkoff allows three goals in loss
Jeff Zatkoff made just 15 saves in a 3-1 loss to Carolina on Thursday.

Despite playing well in his last two appearances, he has just a 3.05 GAA and .887 GAA in six appearances this season as the backup to the backup option for the Kings this season with Jonathan Quick out. He's not a fantasy option right now. Yesterday, 10:48 pm

Advice: The Sharks defense did their part to limit the shooting, but it was not enough as the goalie recorded only a .813 save percentage. Jones faced only six goals in the first period and five each in the second and third, but the backbreaker came very late in the third when he was beaten by Chris Kelly with just over a minute remaining. This snapped a three-game winning streak for Jones in which he logged a save percentage of .947 or greater. Wednesday, 10:27 pm

Advice: So says Buffalo coach Dan Bylsma. Kane averaged 4.2 shots per game in 2015-16, third most in the NHL. This season the talented winger is averaging only 2.4 shots per contest and Bylsma thinks that is why his production is down. All that said, Kane seems to be rebounding from his difficult start. Jeff Zatkoff might get into his first game since Nov. 11 on Thursday.

Advice: It's the second half of a back-to-back set for the Kings. Zatkoff has returned from a groin injury, but with Peter Budaj playing well, Zatkoff has had to wait patiently to get into a game. "I’ve been around long enough, you’ve just got to stay patient and wait your turn," Zatkoff said. "We play 82 games, right? We’re [23] games in. We need both guys to make it to the end. I’m at a point now where I’m just working on kind of getting back to full speed and maintaining that strength to make sure I don’t have any more setbacks the rest of the year." Thursday, 8:10 am
