      Brown netted a shorthanded goal in Tuesday's 5-3 win over the Panthers in Game 5.

      Advice: Brown scored for the first time since May 25, tallying the opening goal Tuesday at 5:30 of the first period. The winger also made an impact under similar circumstances in Game 4 -- with the Oilers shorthanded in the first period, Brown drove to the net, setting up Mattias Janmark and establishing a 1-0 lead Saturday. The 30-year-old Brown has six points, 13 shots on net and a plus-2 rating through 17 playoff contests in a bottom-six role. As evidenced by the last two outings, he's a plus on the penalty kill for the Oilers, which has likely contributed to him keeping his spot in the lineup since early in the second round.       Perunovich signed a one-year, $1.15 million contract with St. Louis on Tuesday.

      Advice: Perunovich produced 17 assists, 36 shots on goal, 53 blocked shots and 30 hits in 54 games with the Blues during the 2023-24 campaign. The 25-year-old defender doesn't have a goal in 73 career NHL appearances. If Perunovich can remain healthy, he should be a regular on the St. Louis blue line during the 2024-25 season.       Advice: Guenette produced seven goals and 34 points in 58 AHL regular-season contests with Belleville in 2023-24.       Elliott is joining the Blues as a scout and development coach, officially marking the end of his NHL playing career.

      Advice: Elliott spent 16 years in the NHL with five of those as a Blue. He also played for Ottawa, Philadelphia, Colorado, Calgary and, most recently, Tampa Bay. The 39-year-old went 279-167-54 with a .909 save percentage and a 2.57 GAA in 543 career appearances. Elliott ended his career with a 32-save shutout against Detroit on April 13, 2023. The 24-year-old blueliner had one goal, six shots on net, nine blocked shots and 18 hits in nine appearances with the Flyers during the 2023-24 campaign.       Foegele scored a goal on two shots and went minus-2 in Thursday's 4-3 loss to the Panthers in Game 3.

      Advice: Foegele cashed in on a breakaway in the second period for the Oilers' first goal. After getting ejected for a knee-on-knee hit in Game 2, Foegele was able to net his second tally of the postseason Thursday.       Foegele was given a five-minute major and a game misconduct in Game 2 versus the Panthers on Monday.

      Advice: Foegele was dismissed from the game due to his knee-on-knee hit against Eetu Luostarinen, who did eventually return to the game. For his part, the 28-year-old Foegele was limited to just 1:54 of ice time due to his ejection, which extended his 16-game goal drought.
