    Advice: Kravtsov opened the scoring Friday, beating Cam Talbot with a wrist shot from the left circle in the first period. Kravtsov tallied his first goal of the season after he was a healthy scratch in eight of the Rangers' last nine contests.     Cirelli (shoulder) will make his season debut against Toronto on Saturday, Chris Krenn of the Lightning's official site reports.

    Advice: Coach Jon Cooper confirmed that Cooper will play Saturday. He is expected to see third line action, between Vladislav Namestnikov and Ross Colton. Cirelli had 17 goals and 43 points in 76 games last season. Today, 8:53 am

    Brodzinski has been called up from AHL Hartford on Saturday.

    Advice: Brodzinski was sent to the minors before the start of the season and had two goals and seven helpers in 17 AHL games before the recall. He had a goal and an assist in 22 games with New York last season. Today, 8:50 am
  • Resumes skating
    Kane (wrist) was skating on his own Saturday, Renaud Lavoie of TVA Sports reports.

    Advice: Kane was stickhandling with only one hand as he underwent surgery three weeks ago when he was cut across his wrist by the skate of Philippe Myers. He is still expected to be out of action another 2-3 months, but this is a good first step for the talented winger, who has five goals, 13 points and 50 shots on goal in 14 games. Today, 7:53 am

    Stutzle potted his ninth goal of the season as Ottawa defeated the Rangers 3-2 in overtime Friday.

    Advice: Stutzle has been great in his third season in the NHL as the 20-year-old scored on the power play, giving him 23 points in 23 games this season. Stutzle had a season high seven shots on goal and has 55 this season. Today, 7:20 am

    Tkachuk scored twice, including the overtime winner, and added an assist as Ottawa upended the Rangers 3-2 on Friday.

    Advice: Tkachuk was the star of the game, as he was in on all three Ottawa goals. Tkachuk has been on fire this season, scoring 11 goals as well as assisting on 17. He also fought Jacob Trouba in the second period and added eight shots on goal, giving him 107 in 23 games. Today, 7:16 am
  • Skates again
    Nichushkin (ankle) skated Saturday for the second time this week, Brennan Vogt of Colorado Hockey Now reports.

    Advice: Nichushkin, who was first seen on the ice Tuesday, skated for about 10 minutes, gliding and testing out the ankle. The forward was given a timeline of a month after undergoing surgery in early November, so he could rejoin the Avalanche next week. Prior to the injury, Nichushkin had seven goals and five assists through seven games. Today, 6:39 am
