  • Pair of points in loss
Stone scored a goal and added an assist, both on the power play, in Thursday's 3-2 overtime loss to the Panthers in Game 3.

Advice: Stone has gotten on the scoresheet in all three games of the Stanley Cup Finals with two goals and two assists. These were his first power-play points since a helper in Game 2 of the Western Conference Finals. The winger has eight tallies, 11 helpers, 46 shots on net, 23 hits and a plus-2 rating through 20 playoff contests. He remains on the third line at even strength, but he gets plenty of playing time in all situations. Rotowire.com Yesterday, 9:16 pm
  • Strong again in loss
Marchessault scored a goal and added an assist, both on the power play, in Thursday's 3-2 overtime loss to the Panthers in Game 3.

Advice: Marchessault continues to be virtually unstoppable with eight goals and five assists during his active eight-game point streak. The Golden Knights weren't able to get anything going at even strength Thursday, but Marchessault remains effective in most scoring situations. The winger has 13 tallies, 10 assists, 71 shots on net, 50 hits and a plus-16 rating through 20 playoff contests. Rotowire.com Yesterday, 9:13 pm
  • Provides equalizer in OT win
Tkachuk scored a goal on three shots, dished an assist and went plus-3 in Thursday's 3-2 overtime win over the Golden Knights in Game 3.

Advice: Tkachuk had an eventful night, which saw him leave the game late in the first period and miss part of the second with a suspected injury. He ended up being just fine, with his goal late in the third sending the contest into overtime. The winger continues to be a star for the Panthers with 24 points, 57 shots on net, 58 hits, 60 PIM and a plus-12 rating through 19 playoff contests. Rotowire.com Yesterday, 8:46 pm
  • Returns in second period
Tkachuk returned to the ice in the second period of Thursday's Game 3 versus the Golden Knights, Elliotte Friedman of Sportsnet reports.

Advice: Tkachuk was late out of the locker room following the first intermission after taking a big hit in the first period. The winger picked up one assist prior to his brief absence, and he'll look to add to that over the rest of the contest. Rotowire.com Yesterday, 6:31 pm
  • Exits after big hit
Tkachuk (undisclosed) left Thursday's Game 3 versus the Golden Knights in the first period after receiving a big hit, Jameson Olive of the Panthers' official site reports.

Advice: Tkachuk was hit by Keegan Kolesar in the first period, and while it looked like the Florida winger was going to stay in the game, he exited after a power-play shift. He was not on the Panthers' bench to start the second period. The team did not immediately provide an update on Tkachuk's status after the first intermission. Rotowire.com Yesterday, 6:23 pm
  • Has MCL strain
The injury that caused Dadonov to miss Dallas' final three playoff contests was an MCL strain, Stars general manager Jim Nill told Brian Rea of Bally Sports Southwest on Thursday.

Advice: Dadonov hasn't fully recovered from the injury. He recorded seven goals and 33 points in 73 regular-season outings in 2022-23 and contributed another four goals and 10 points in 16 playoff contests. Dadonov is eligible to become an unrestricted free agent this summer after completing his three-year, $15 million contract. Rotowire.com Yesterday, 10:08 am

  • Re-ups with Blueshirts
Blidh signed a two-year, two-way contract with the Rangers on Wednesday, per PuckPedia.

Advice: Blidh posted 23 points in 53 AHL games split between Hartford and Coloradothis year. The winger is a veteran of 84 NHL contests over the last seven years, but he's managed just 12 points over that span. He'll likely be organizational depth for the Rangers in 2023-24, and he'll be limited to a bottom-six role at the NHL level at best. Rotowire.com Wednesday, 4:49 pm

  • Inks two-year deal
Athanasiou signed a two-year, $8.5 million contract with the Blackhawks on Wednesday, per PuckPedia.

Advice: Athanasiou was able to turn his second-best season into a two-year deal after logging 20 goals and 20 helpers in 81 contests in 2022-23. The 28-year-old forward was often playing in a top-six role for Chicago, especially later in the season after trades decimated the team's forward depth. He's a natural center but may fit better on the wing, and the potential that he could end up playing with Connor Bedard makes Athanasiou slightly more interesting for fantasy managers. Additionally, Los Angeles retained 30 percent of the contract for Ivan Provorov, who was sent to Columbus, and acquired defenseman Kevin Connauton from the Flyers in the deal.
