  • Gets first point of playoffs
    Perry posted an assist and three hits in Wednesday's 5-2 win over the Stars in Game 4.

    Advice: Perry fell out of favor for the Oilers late in the second round -- his appearance Wednesday ended a stretch of five straight healthy scratches for the veteran winger. He was also able to snap a 12-game point drought when he helped out on a Ryan McLeod tally in the first period. The 39-year-old Perry's best years are well behind him at this point, but he can still be an effective depth forward and pest. Given the Oilers' win in Game 4 to even the Western Conference Finals at two games apiece, it wouldn't be surprising to see Perry get a run in the lineup over the rest of the series.   • On three-game point streak
    Brown logged a shorthanded assist in Wednesday's 5-2 win over the Stars in Game 4.

    Advice: Brown set up Mattias Janmark's tally in the second period, which stood as the game-winner. Over the last three games, Brown has a goal and two assists, stepping up as a solid depth scorer for the Oilers.   • Propels Panthers in thriller
    Reinhart scored the game-winning goal in overtime in Tuesday's 3-2 win over New York in Game 4 of the Eastern Conference Finals.

    Advice: Reinhart was the hero in South Florida on Tuesday night -- he buried a feed from Aleksander Barkov to send the series back to New York tied at two games apiece. It was Reinhart's fourth power-play goal of the postseason, three of which have come in the last two games. Reinhart has eight goals so far during the postseason which trails only Carter Verhaeghe (nine) for the lead for Florida. Reinhart is also tied for the team lead in power-play goals with four.   • Distributes two assists
    Tkachuk recorded two assists (one on the power play), seven shots on goal and two hits in Sunday's 5-4 overtime loss to the Rangers in Game 3.

    Advice: Tkachuk helped out on a Sam Reinhart power-play tally in the first period and also set up Gustav Forsling's equalizer in the third. This was Tkachuk's second multi-point effort in three Eastern Conference Finals games.   • Picks up assist in overtime win
    Roslovic recorded an assist in Sunday's 5-4 overtime win over the Panthers in Game 3.

    Advice: Roslovic was credited with the secondary helper on Alexander Wennberg's tally in overtime. While he hasn't scored in nine games, Roslovic has picked up three assists over his last four contests. The 27-year-old winger began the playoffs in a top-line role, but he's now on the third line after Filip Chytil took his spot alongside Chris Kreider and Mika Zibanejad. Roslovic is at eight points, 18 shots on net, nine hits, seven blocked shots and a plus-1 rating through 13 playoff appearances, but his scoring chances are likely to be limited as long as he remains in the bottom six.     Advice: Foegele snapped an 11-game point drought dating back to Game 2 of the first round. The 28-year-old winger has a steady spot in the lineup, but he's seen a smaller role amid his slump.   • Secures one-year deal
    Ward agreed to terms on a one-year, two-way contract with Los Angeles on Friday.

    Advice: Ward has yet to make his NHL debut, having spent the past three seasons playing exclusively in the minors with AHL Ontario. The 26-year-old winger did set new personal bests with the Reign this season, recoding 11 goals and 21 helpers before adding seven points in eight postseason contests.     Dadonov registered an assist and four shots on goal in Thursday's 3-2 double-overtime loss to the Oilers in Game 1.

    Advice: Dadonov has a goal and three assists over his last five contests. The winger has benefited from taking on a larger role while Roope Hintz (upper body) is out. Dadonov has seven points, 20 shots on net, 15 hits, 13 blocked shots and a plus-2 rating over 14 playoff outings, so even with his recent increased offense, he's still little more than a complementary part of the Stars' attack.
