Player Notes

  • Reaches 10-assist mark
Robertson logged an assist in Wednesday's 6-3 win over the Coyotes.

Advice: Robertson has been solid with four points over eight games in February. It's enough to keep him in the lineup regularly as a middle-six winger. The 22-year-old has 18 points, 58 shots on net, 24 hits and a plus-1 rating through 37 outings overall. Robertson's production mostly comes from scoring, and he's got enough of that to help fantasy managers in deep formats. Yesterday, 10:49 pm
  • Labeled week-to-week
Arvidsson (lower body) is out week-to-week, Kevin Weekes of ESPN reports.

Advice: Arvidsson was hurt on his first shift in Tuesday's game versus the Blue Jackets. The 30-year-old winger was playing in his fourth game of the season, though it's unclear if his current lower-body injury is at all connected to the back surgery that kept him out for the first four months of the campaign. • Sitting out Wednesday
Nugent-Hopkins (illness) will not play Wednesday versus the Bruins, Tony Brar of Oilers TV reports.

Advice: Nugent-Hopkins was on the doubtful side of a game-time decision and ultimately will have to miss his first game of the season. The 30-year-old has been excellent with 49 points over 52 outings, including 17 power-play points. Warren Foegele and Ryan McLeod will hold down top-six spots while Evander Kane figures to pick up Nugent-Hopkins' power-play time against Boston. Yesterday, 6:49 pm
  • Surfaces on IR
Jeannot (undisclosed) was placed on injured reserve Wednesday, per CapFriendly.

Advice: Jeannot has played in just one game since Jan. 9 due to multiple injuries. The 26-year-old is eligible to return whenever ready, but his move to IR suggests he won't play Thursday versus the Capitals at a minimum. Yesterday, 5:40 pm
  • On injured reserve
Joshua (upper body) was put on injured reserve Wednesday.

Advice: The move can be retroactive to Feb. 13, in which case Joshua would be eligible to be activated whenever he's healthy. That said, Vancouver likely wouldn't have put him on IR unless he was expected to miss at least one more game, so Joshua shouldn't be counted on to return Thursday versus Seattle. He has 13 goals, 26 points, 46 PIM and 191 hits in 53 outings in 2023-24. Yesterday, 3:01 pm
  • Up from minors
MacLean was called up from AHL Bridgeport on Wednesday.

Advice: MacLean has six goals, 22 points and 32 PIM in 43 AHL games this campaign. He's also appeared in six contests with New York, recording a goal, four PIM and 13 hits. Yesterday, 12:14 pm
  • Supplies power-play helper
Benn notched a power-play assist, five shots on goal and two PIM in Tuesday's 3-1 loss to the Rangers.

Advice: Benn got on the scoresheet in consecutive games for the first time since Jan. 6-8. The 34-year-old had also gone 11 games without a power-play point entering Tuesday. He's experienced the expected regression after last year's 78-point campaign, recording 32 points, 98 shots on net, 72 hits and 35 PIM through 57 outings in 2023-24. He'll need to do a little better down the stretch to get back to the 50-point threshold. Yesterday, 10:16 am
  • Dealing with lower-body issue
Vesey missed Wednesday's practice due to a lower-body injury.

Advice: At this point, it isn't clear if Vesey will be available for Thursday's game versus the Devils. If Vesey is unable to play, Alex Belzile will likely draw into the lineup against New Jersey. Yesterday, 9:36 am
  • Deemed day-to-day
Panarin is considered day-to-day with a lower-body injury.

Advice: Panarin missed Wednesday's practice due to his lower-body issue, leaving his status for Thursday's game versus the Devils up in the air. If Panarin, who's racked up 32 goals and 75 points through 56 contests this season, is unable to go, Kaapo Kakko or Will Cuylle will likely see an expanded role against New Jersey. Yesterday, 9:33 am
