Player Notes

  • Offers helper in loss
Arvidsson notched an assist, three shots on goal and a minus-3 rating in Monday's 7-4 loss to the Oilers in Game 1.

Advice: Arvidsson helped out on a Mikey Anderson goal in the second period. With seven points over his last five contests, Arvidsson is carrying some momentum on offense into the postseason. He was limited to 18 regular-season games but still produced 15 points and 59 shots on net over that span, making him a solid depth option for fantasy playoff competitions. Yesterday, 11:53 pm
  • Tickles twine in loss
Moore scored a goal on three shots, added two PIM and notched three hits in Monday's 7-4 loss to the Oilers in Game 1.

Advice: Moore got the Kings within two goals late in the third period, but there wasn't enough time for a comeback. The 29-year-old winger has six goals and three assists over 10 outings in April. He produced a career-high 31 goals and 57 points in 82 regular-season contests while cementing himself as a fixture on the second line. Moore also sees time on both special teams, making him a strong two-way forward. Yesterday, 11:49 pm
  • Nets goal in Game 1 loss
Dubois scored a goal on three shots, added four PIM and dished out five hits in Monday's 7-4 loss to the Oilers in Game 1.

Advice: Dubois' goal late in the third period was little more than window dressing in the high-scoring loss. The 25-year-old had five points over the last nine games of the regular season, finishing the campaign at 40 points in 82 appearances. He's still in a bottom-six role in the playoffs, and he'll likely stay there as long as both Anze Kopitar and Phillip Danault are healthy. Yesterday, 11:47 pm
  • Fills empty cage
Foegele scored an empty-net goal on five shots and added two hits in Monday's 7-4 win over the Kings in Game 1.

Advice: Foegele has four goals over his last four games, a span in which he's fired 25 shots on net. The 28-year-old winger remains in a middle-six role for the Oilers, and he doesn't often see much power-play time. He had 20 goals and 41 points, both career highs, in 82 regular-season appearances this year. Yesterday, 11:23 pm
  • Strikes on power play
Nugent-Hopkins scored a power-play goal on four shots, added two hits and blocked two shots in Monday's 7-4 win over the Kings in Game 1.

Advice: Nugent-Hopkins rested for the regular-season finale. The 31-year-old has spent much of the season in a top-six role, and he began the playoffs on the second line. He produced 18 goals and 67 points in 80 contests this year, well off the mark from last year's 37-goal, 104-point campaign. Nonetheless, Nugent-Hopkins should continue to be an excellent source of power-play production. Yesterday, 11:20 pm
  • One of each in Game 1 win
Henrique scored a goal on two shots, dished an assist, added two PIM and logged two hits in Monday's 7-4 win over the Kings in Game 1.

Advice: Henrique was on the top line Monday, and it worked out well for him. He scored in the first period and helped out on the second of Zach Hyman's three goals, an even-strength tally in the second. Henrique had just nine points over 22 regular-season games as an Oiler following his trade from the Ducks, but he'll have significantly more scoring upside as long as his even-strength minutes come on the top line. • Earns two power-play points
Draisaitl scored a goal on three shots and added an assist in Monday's 7-4 win over the Kings in Game 1.

Advice: Both of Draisaitl's points came on the power play in the high-scoring win. The center had five multi-point efforts over his last 11 games of the regular season. He finished 2023-24 with 41 goals, 106 points, 39 power-play points, 217 shots on net and a plus-26 rating. For now, Draisaitl will center his own line, and that will likely continue unless the Oilers fall behind in a series. Yesterday, 11:15 pm
  • Hat trick, assist in win
Hyman scored three times on nine shots, dished an assist, doled out five hits, added two PIM and went plus-2 in Monday's 7-4 win over the Kings in Game 1.

Advice: Hyman rested in the regular-season finale, and it was well earned after his 54-goal, 77-point campaign. The winger kept the offense up in the playoff opener, scoring once in each frame to power the Oilers' offense. Hyman's chemistry with Connor McDavid is quite prevalent, and their continued success figures to play a large role in how far the Oilers go this spring. Yesterday, 11:13 pm
  • Deposits goal in Game 1
Marchment scored a goal on four shots, added two PIM and doled out three hits in Monday's 4-3 loss to the Golden Knights in Game 1.

Advice: Marchment has scored in back-to-back contests and three of his last six outings. The winger had a career-best regular season with 53 points (22 goals, 31 helpers) in a second-line role. He also had 108 hits, 150 shots on net and 54 PIM over 81 appearances, providing some toughness on the Stars' second line. Yesterday, 10:50 pm
