  • Will be ready for training camp
General manager Steve Staios said Friday that Norris (shoulder) will be ready for the start of training camp in September, Claire Hanna of TSN reports.

Advice: Norris underwent his third shoulder operation in his career in March and he is well on his way to recovery. The talented center had 16 goals and 30 points in 50 games this season, but he struggled at times, due to his lingering shoulder woes. Norris has missed 106 games over the last two seasons, really dampening his fantasy value heading into the 2024-25 campaign. Rotowire.com 20 minutes ago

  • Lights lamp twice in finale
Gourde scored two goals, one shorthanded and the other the eventual game-winner, in Thursday's 4-3 victory over the Wild.

Advice: Both tallies came in the third period, and Gourde's empty-netter with just under two minutes to play ended up being a needed insurance marker. The 32-year-old saw his production take a step backward in 2023-24, managing only 11 goals and 33 points in 80 games, but he set career highs with 156 shots on net and 156 hits and should fill a middle-six role with the Kraken again next season. • Two helpers in finale
MacKinnon picked up a pair of assists in Thursday's 5-1 win over the Oilers.

Advice: MacKinnon grabbed an assist on Mikko Rantanen's first-period goal before adding a second helper on Valeri Nichushkin's power-play marker later in the frame. It was an appropriate finish to an outstanding campaign from MacKinnon. He'll finish with 140 points (51 goals, 89 assists) in 82 games, good for second most in the league behind Nikita Kucherov. • Caps off regular season in style
Perfetti scored two goals, including an empty netter, in Thursday's 4-2 win over the Canucks.

Advice: Perfetti returned from a three-game absence as he'd been a healthy scratch over that span. The 22-year-old winger delivered 19 goals and assists apiece to complement a plus-13 rating between 71 regular-season contests. Perfetti remains on the active roster ahead of Winnipeg's first-round playoff series versus Colorado. Rotowire.com Today, 5:38 am
  • Finds twine on power play
Johnson scored a power-play goal on two shots and added two PIM in Thursday's 5-4 overtime loss to the Kings.

Advice: Johnson kicked off a third-period rally with his 17th goal of the campaign. The 33-year-old forward ended the campaign with 31 points, 112 shots on net, 26 PIM and a minus-35 rating over 67 appearances. Johnson is set for unrestricted free agency this summer, and he should have a decent number of suitors now that he won't command a $5 million cap hit. Rotowire.com Today, 12:17 am
  • Earns two points in overtime loss
Donato scored a goal on two shots, dished a power-play assist and added two hits in Thursday's 5-4 overtime loss to the Kings.

Advice: Donato made an impact in the Blackhawks' third-period rally, and the two-point effort got him to 30 points for the season. The 28-year-old ends the campaign with 12 goals, 18 helpers, 149 shots on net, 105 hits and a minus-14 rating over 78 appearances. Donato is under contract for 2024-25, so he'll likely be in line for a similar bottom-six role as a decent depth scorer. Rotowire.com Today, 12:11 am
