  • Kings back NHL's suspension of Slava Voynov
The Los Angeles Kings are standing behind the NHL's decision to suspend Slava Voynov indefinitely.

Advice: The NHL acted after Voynov was arrested following an alleged incident of domestic violence that sent an adult woman to the hospital. While the Kings believe the NHL is acting correctly, they do have questions about what this means for their franchise. More specifically, they aren't sure how this will be handled from a salary cap and roster space perspective. The Kings have looked through the CBA and don't feel it addressed their questions, but they will speak to the league Wednesday. Rotoworld.com

  • Radko Gudas should return during road trip
Radko Gudas (lower body) didn't skate Monday and he sat out his third consecutive game.

Advice: He was able to ride the stationary bike, but isn't expected to play Tuesday night in Calgary either. Coach Jon Cooper expects Gudas to play at some point during Tampa Bay's road trip. Rotoworld.com

  • Derrick Pouliot heads to the minors
Derrick Pouliot has been sent to AHL Wilkes-Barre/Scranton.

Advice: Pouliot had been recovering from a shoulder surgery he underwent in May. He's got the potential to be a great offensive defenseman and it wouldn't surprise us if he makes his NHL debut before the season's over. Rotoworld.com

  • Gleason focused on regaining physical edge
Tim Gleason has been focused on playing with a more physical edge this season.

Advice: Gleason felt his game had been diminishing in that regard and that's what led to the Toronto Maple Leafs buying out his contract over the summer. He agreed to a one-year contract with his old team, the Carolina Hurricanes. He has 12 hits in four contests this season. Rotoworld.com

  • Dany Heatley hopes to return 'soon'
Dany Heatley (groin) resumed practicing with the Anaheim Ducks on Monday.

Advice: "It felt good being out there with the guys," Heatley said. "I feel good. It's progressing really well. First, you skate by yourself, and then you get in some practices. Hopefully it keeps going the right way and I can get back soon." Heatley has missed the Ducks' first six games of 2014-15. He'll be worth keeping an eye on when he's back as he might play on Anaheim's top line. Rotoworld.com
