Congratulations to Dan "Wild Man" on winning the championship. I have know Dan personally for a long time and believe this is his first hockey championship, correct me if I am wrong Dan?
Also, thank you everyone on playing with us again this season. I know hockey is the hardest league to find players and I appreciate everyone of you who played all season with us. As always, if you know of anyone and would be interested in playing again next season please let me know.

Welcome returning and new players to Midwest Hockey. We have 2 new players joining us this season and I’m excited to get our season off to a great start. Below are some rules and if you have any additional questions please let me know?
Draft: Wednesday, October 4th at 8:00 p.m. central time. The order will be random and determined 30 minutes before the draft.
Divisions: There are two different divisions with 5 teams in each. The divisions are based off of last season’s regular season standings with odd place and even place winners in each division. The winners of both divisions will receive an automatic bye into the semifinals.
Schedule: You will play everyone in your division three times and everyone in the other division twice.
Trade Deadline: Wednesday March 13th. Please also note that for a trade to be vetoed 1/3 of the league must vote against it.
Playoffs: The playoffs will consist of 3 weeks and have 6 teams made the playoffs. The division winners (regardless of records) will receive the top 2 spots and the bye into the semifinals. The remaining 4 spots will be based on the regular-season standings. All tiebreakers will be rewarded to the better seed.
