    • Nabs helper in loss
Kulikov posted an assist, two shots on goal and four hits in Friday's 5-1 loss to the Oilers in Game 6.

Advice: The helper was Kulikov's first point since April 4, ending a 27-game dry spell that had covered all of the Panthers' postseason run. While his offense has been absent, the 33-year-old blueliner has racked up 55 hits, 25 blocked shots and a minus-1 rating over 23 playoff appearances. He's been a fixture in a third-pairing role, though that's not one that comes with much ice time given the talented defensemen on the Panthers' roster. Rotowire.com Friday, 9:51 pm
    • Supplies helper
Verhaeghe notched an assist and went minus-2 in Friday's 5-1 loss to the Oilers in Game 6.

Advice: Verhaeghe has often been one of the Panthers' most clutch performers, but he's fallen flat in the Stanley Cup Finals for the second year in a row. He has just two points over six contests versus the Oilers. Overall, he's at 19 points, 76 shots on net, 27 hits and a minus-7 rating through 23 playoff appearances. Rotowire.com Friday, 9:48 pm
    • Takes third straight loss
Bobrovsky allowed three goals on 19 shots in Friday's 5-1 loss to the Oilers in Game 6. The last two goals were empty-netters.

Advice: The Oilers didn't dominate early in the game, but they converted their chances while limiting the Panthers' offense over the first two periods. Bobrovsky ultimately wasn't up to the task, and he's now allowed 15 goals over his last four games, with losses in each of the last three. He'll presumably have one more chance to secure the Stanley Cup for the Panthers in Monday's Game 7 on home ice, as it's unlikely head coach Paul Maurice will switch to backup Anthony Stolarz for the winner-take-all contest. • Posts assist in win
Janmark recorded an assist, two shots on goal, four PIM and a plus-2 rating in Friday's 5-1 win over the Panthers in Game 6.

Advice: Janmark has stepped up with three points during the Oilers' three-game winning streak. The 31-year-old forward is up to seven points, including a pair of shorthanded goals, as well as 21 shots on net, 21 hits, 12 PIM and a plus-5 rating through 24 playoff appearances in a bottom-six role. • Helps force Game 7
Skinner stopped 20 of 21 shots in Friday's 5-1 win over the Panthers in Game 6.

Advice: Skinner rattled off his third straight win to dig the Oilers out of a 3-0 series deficit. This victory sends the series to Florida one more time for Game 7 on Monday. Skinner has yet to win four games in a row this postseason -- the last time he did so was Feb. 26-March 5 during the regular season. The 25-year-old goalie's performance while helping to pull the Oilers back from the brink makes it a virtual guarantee he'll get the nod for Monday's winner-take-all contest. • Out for Game 6
Kane (abdomen) will not play Friday against the Panthers, Bob Stauffer of the Oilers Radio Network reports.

Advice: Kane was considered a game-time call but will miss his fourth straight contest. The veteran winger has eight points in 20 games this postseason and was held scoreless with a minus-4 rating through two appearances against Florida prior to his injury. His status for a potential Game 7 on Monday is unclear at this time. Rotowire.com Friday, 4:49 pm
    • Guarding goal in Game 6
Bobrovsky will defend the road crease in Edmonton on Friday, Mike Cugno of CBS Miami reports.

Advice: Bobrovsky has really struggled the last two games, giving up nine goals on 39 shots (.769 save percentage). Overall, the netminder is 15-7 with a 2.35 GAA and a .906 save percentage in 22 playoff appearances. Bobrovsky was on a six-game winning streak prior to losing the past two contests. • Starting Game 6
Skinner will be between the home pipes for Game 6 versus Florida on Friday.

Advice: Skinner has been outstanding over the last two games, giving up only four goals on 65 shots while picking up back-to-back wins to help the Oilers force Game 6. Skinner has been at his best in elimination games during the 2024 Stanley Cup playoffs, going 4-0 with a 1.75 GAA and a .928 save percentage in those situations. Rotowire.com Friday, 8:31 am
    • Questionable for Friday
Kane (abdomen) skated at morning practice Thursday, but his status for Game 6 versus Florida on Friday is up in the air, Jason Gregor of Sports 1440 Edmonton reports.

Advice: Kane, who has missed the last three games with the injury, skated on the fifth line at practice and never had an opportunity to play with the regulars. Kane has four goals, four assists and 47 PIM in 20 playoff games this season. Rotowire.com Thursday, 10:35 am
